Steve Aoki was spotted filming a new episode of ‘Pawn Stars’ with Chumlee in downtown Las Vegas, and the famous DJ even got down with the Godfather himself — Derek Stevens — owner of the Circa Resort and Casino!
At this point, it’s no surprise that downtown Vegas’ brand new resort, Circa Las Vegas, has become one of the biggest celebrity magnets in the city. Their latest star sighting took place 60 floors above the Las Vegas Valley, at none other than Legacy Club (Circa’s renowned rooftop cocktail lounge). One iconic tourist attraction met another, as the hit television series, Pawn Stars, was filming a brand new episode inside the elegant lounge. With Legacy Club’s unmatched panoramic view of the city, it wouldn’t be a shock if TV personality, Chumlee, was able to spot Gold & Silver Pawn Shop from their massive outdoor terrace.
‘Pawn Stars’ Chumlee wasn’t the only long dark-haired star stationed at Circa’s rooftop. Worldwide phenomenon, and wildly popular DJ, Steve Aoki, stopped by to make a guest appearance on the reality History series. For those wondering what Steve and Chumlee discussed… you’ll just have to wait a couple of months until the episode airs (it’s sure to be one of the best ones yet)!
Steve Aoki & Chumlee Filming Episode Of ‘Pawn Stars’ Together!
After filming, Circa CEO/owner, Derek Stevens, ventured up to Legacy Club to hang out with the TV icon and the DJing legend. Since this was their first time being awestruck by the resort’s rooftop, Mr. Stevens was delighted to show them around. From the dazzling display of 500 custom gold bars to the elegant array of spirits, to the divine architecture, this place has it all (not to mention, the indoor and outdoor views that one won’t find anywhere else). Once they headed outside to the vast patio area, the golden hour photo ops began. What better backdrop than the entire Vegas valley before sundown?
Derek Stevens and Steve Aoki decided to snap a legendary photo, similar to those taken by the DJ with his famous friends. Obviously, this picture is worth a thousand words, but this one might be worth a million. Derek and Aoki, already 60 stories high, wanted to be captured even higher. Any fan of Aoki’s knows about his go-to pose – the midair jump. They decided to do that together, and reached some major height, towering above the city of Las Vegas.
Derek Steves & Steve Aoki Bust Out Signature Jump Photo!
As you know, It’s already a rare occurrence for a casino owner to be so accessible and open-minded, but to be a part of a fun photoshoot like this, with no hesitation, is something that makes Derek Stevens stand out, and above, the norm.
Following the shoot, Aoki met with Circa executive, Richard Wilk, where he received a personal tour of the property. From the rooftop, they went down to the fifth floor where Steve laid his eyes on Stadium Swim – Circa’s monumental outdoor pool amphitheater. Afterward, Richard escorted Steve down to the hotel’s basement level and into their acclaimed steakhouse, Barry’s Downtown Prime. This classy dining spot contains 6 different themed dining rooms, along with 2 massive private tables with a seating capacity of 12-14 (perfect for Aoki and his whole crew)!
Legends Of Las Vegas!
The food was SO good, the renowned DJ returned to the restaurant and dined with some of his close friends. After dinner, celebrity chef/co-owner, Barry Dakake, gave Aoki and his crew a special tour of the place where all of the magic (and delicious food) is made – the kitchen.
After touring the restaurant, they cruised back up to the casino floor where the world’s largest sportsbook resides. Aoki’s jaw dropped as he took in the 78 million pixel screen.
The Grammy-nominated DJ was certainly taking a mental note of it all, and is most likely planning to hit up the state-of-the-art Circa Resort & Casino when he gets some downtime – as many other stars have already done!
Just make sure we get an invite!!
