Alicia Keys and her husband, Swizz Beatz, are raising a fine young man!

Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding stars being pelted by enthusiastic concertgoers, Genesis Ali Dean, their son, went the extra mile to safeguard his superstar mom. The eight-year-old took it upon himself to protect her on stage, ensuring she remained unharmed by any excitable fans and subsequently getting honored by his dad for doing the right thing.

In recent weeks, there has been a growing trend of celebrities being hit with various objects during their performances. Among the victims of this bizarre behavior are Harry Styles, Drake, Bebe Rexha, and Louis Tomlinson, with Cardi B having to deal with a fan throwing a beer at her over the weekend, prompting her to take matters into her own hands. 

Thus, it was no surprise that Genesis stood guard by Keys' piano to protect her and ensure nothing surprising came her way as she performed over the weekend. Highlighting the sweet moment, Beatz — real name Kasseem Daoud Dean — uploaded multiple snaps that showed the eight-year-old in a varsity jacket, baggy shorts, and Crocs, ready to jump into action, on Instagram.

"He heard how people been acting at shows lately ?. My boy serious in real life ?," the "Fancy" hitmaker wrote across the lead image, before explaining in his caption:

"My boy said I'm not playing no games on moms stage ???? He a real serious one ? Thank you Gen we love you and your protection & He didn't care she was live on stage ????."

The adorable post was promptly liked by nearly 80k fans, with thousands expressing how much they loved Genesis' protective ways in the comment section. "When the crocs in sport mode you know it's serious business," one fan joked, as another commented, "Gen said, 'nobody will be throwing anything up here while I'm on patrol. It's not happening.'"

A third netizen claimed, "He don't like that shyt he want mom to stay in the house," and a fourth chipped in, "He must protect his momma at all costs. I absolutely love it. As a boy mom (well now man mom lol) he will be like that forever."

While Genesis is keying into a bodyguard career, his big brother, Egypt Daoud Dean, previously titillated people when he showed off his musical talents earlier this month. As The Blast reported, Keys had dropped a few pointers about how she and the record producer made their marriage work, stating, "Really carving out time for each other. We all struggle with it. There's so much balance. There's so much to do."

The "No One" hitmaker shared that people sometimes found themselves "running and doing the things for school, for the kids, and doing all the things for your lists, for all the dreams you have in your career, and what you have to do next."

However, what helped partners keep their focus on each other amid the busy schedule was remembering that the time they had with each other was "so priceless." Hence, they had to create the time and make it as significant as "those daily things" because it reflected positively on the relationship.
