Charity Lawson accepted the role of “Bachelorette” lead following the “Women Tell All” episode.
“Bachelor” host Jesse Palmer sat down with the 27-year-old to play “This or That,” which he said was for social media. Palmer started by asking straightforward questions such as “Sunrise or sunset?” and “Camping or glamping?” But that is when Palmer got down to business, asking Lawson, “Bachelor in Paradise or The Bachelorette?” to which Lawson hesitated slightly before answering, “The Bachelorette.”
“I’m glad you said that because Charity, I want you to be our next Bachelorette,” Palmer said, dropping the bomb and completely shocking Lawson.
The 27-year-old went out on her journey of being “The Bachelorette” a few days after accepting the role. Now, she is grabbing the attention of her Instagram followers with her latest post.
Charity Lawson Says ‘Hop In’
Lawson recently returned to social media as filming for her season has officially wrapped. Ever since, she has continued to post steamy photos on Instagram, grabbing her fans’ and followers’ attention.
Her most recent post showed the 27-year-old splashing around in a hot tub while wearing a light purple bikini, putting her assets on full display. “Hop in,” she captioned the post.
Former “Bachelor” contestant and close friend Kaity Biggar commented on the post, “UMM PARDON 😍😍,” as another contestant from Zach Shallcross’s season, Ariel Frenkel, wrote, “Cannonball 🌊.”
Other close friends of Lawson commented things such as “Ohhhhh my god 😍” and “I want this framed.”

Before filming began for the upcoming season of “The Bachelorette,” Lawson spoke out about becoming the next “Bachelorette” on “Good Morning America,” where she said, “It is an indescribable feeling. I am so honored and so excited. I still feel like I’m dreaming and processing those feelings, but I am so excited for what’s to come.”
When speaking on her upcoming journey of being “The Bachelorette,” Lawson acknowledged the challenges she will face, explaining, “I think it’s going to be challenging, but I think for me, I am very open with my emotions, and I wear my heart on my sleeve, so I feel like if anything it’s going to be easier, but it does come with its challenges, and I do know what that will be like, but I plan on staying just as open.”
Charity Lawson’s “The Bachelorette” season will premiere on Monday, June 26.
