Adele Dedicates Latest Grammy Win To Son After Dwayne Johnson Meet

Adele had a good Sunday night, given that she won the 2023 Grammy award for best pop solo performance for "Easy on Me," from her album "30." Despite advice from her boyfriend Rich Paul to not cry on the stage, Adele blubbered sweetly, after her "new best friend" Dwayne Johnson presented her with the award.
First Up, Watch Dwyane Johnson Meet Adele!
Trevor Noah played introductions at the 65th Grammys when he decided Adele and Dwayne Johnson needed to be introduced to each other. In a filmed interaction, Noah approached Adele's table and recalled how she had mentioned that she had never met Dwayne Johnson but really wanted to. When Adele confirmed the same, Noah said that while he didn't have somebody called "Dwayne Johnson" there, he did have somebody called "The Rock."
Johnson then walked up behind her seat and greeted her with his customary grin and a hug, and Adele looked absolutely delighted at the encounter.
Said Noah, "Adele meet The Rock, The Rock meet Adele! All right, you two get acquainted, we gotta keep the show moving!"
As the camera panned away, Johnson was seen taking a seat next to the 16-time Grammy winner, as her boyfriend, Rich Paul looked on a tad "awkwardly." The Twitter meme factory got active soon after and we have to admit, some of these are downright ROFL.

Adele Presented Grammy By "New Best Friend" Dwayne Johnson
Jokes apart, Adele's boyfriend Rich Paul looked totally besotted and invested in his girl as she took to the stage to collect her Grammy. She related her boyfriend's advice on stage, saying that Paul had told her: "if you win anything, don't cry. And here I am crying!"
Prior to Adele's acceptance speech, Dwayne Johnson strode on stage to present the award which celebrated "excellence in an individual performance." Along with Adele, the nominees included Bad Bunny, Doja Cat, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, and Harry Styles. As Johnson announced the winner as Adele, he called out, "Get up here, new best friend" as a reference to how host Trevor Noah started the Sunday night by pointing out that Adele had been dying to meet the former wrestler.
A happy but somewhat surprise Adele got up to receive her award, hugging her boyfriend Rich Paul, and fellow musician Lizzo, as Styles and other guests rose to their feet to applaud the British singer. She walked on stage looking stunning and accepted a big hug and kiss on the cheek from "The Rock," as she started her acceptance speech in a slightly teary voice, saying, "Well, Thank you!"
Johnson was sweet enough to share a snippet of the same:

"Choosing To Change My Son's Life"
The 34-year-old singer took to the stage to first say "I really was just looking forward to coming tonight," She got emotional then, tearing up as she said, "I just want to dedicate this to my son, Angelo."
She continued to speak about her 10-year-old boy, saying, "I wrote this first verse in the shower when I was choosing to change my son's life," she explained.
The verse she mentions is "There ain't no gold in this river / That I've been washin' my hands in forever / I know there is hope in these waters / But I can't bring myself to swim / When I am drowning in this silence / Baby, let me in."
In an October 2021 interview, Adele said that her album "30" and the song "Easy on Me" was her explanation to her son, saying, "I wanted to explain to him through this record, when he's in his twenties or thirties, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness." At the time, Adele had split from her ex-husband, Simon Konecki, and has also since undergone a weight loss journey that has left her absolutely stunning in her new form.
Adele also mentioned how her son has been her strongest support in her acceptance speech, saying, "He's been nothing but humble and gracious and loving to me the whole time."
We wait to see her celebrate on social media, in the meantime!
