Music's biggest night will soon be upon us once again!

The 2023 Grammy nominations dropped on Tuesday morning. The nominations cover the biggest musical moments of 2022 and stretch across the vast musical landscape.

As further nominations trickle in, the 2023 Grammys ceremony is already looking like it will be a memorable one.

Earlier this summer, The Blast reported on a landmark attribute related to the ceremony: Five new categories have been added to the Grammys' roster, and submission rules have been amended as well.

Read on to find which of 2022's biggest artists and musical moments have been nominated for Grammys!

What Do We Know About The 2023 Grammy Awards So Far?

As we've previously mentioned, the 2023 Grammy awards are already notable due to a few changes made by the Recording Academy.

The new categories added to the Grammys roster are the non-classical Songwriter Of The Year, Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media, Best Alternative Music Performance, Best American Music Performance, and Best Spoken Word Poetry.

Our June report also mentions there will be a new non-competitive category known as the Special Merit Award for Best Song for Social Change, but the award will not be part of the regular Grammy structure.

Submission rules for Albums have also been changed. Members of the Recording Academy now have a limit of five albums they can submit. Before the change, there was no limit to the number of album-related submissions up for submission.

Extra submissions would cost voters between $40-$125 per entry, depending on whether it is an "early bird," "standard," or "final deadline fee."

Registered media companies will have to pay between $65-$125 based on the same terms. (via The Blast)
