The supermodel has been quiet on her socials following the dramatic and shocking allegation that her husband had cheated on her with Instagram model Sumber Stroh. That action prompted other women to step forward with claims that the Maroon 5 frontman had been sexually inappropriate with them.
Behati Prinsloo Flips Off Unknown Target In New Instagram Update
Prinsloo shared a throwback image to her Instagram Story, sticking out her tongue and holding up her middle finger. The snap was captured as the mother-of-two strutted past Victoria’s Secret sign on a stage.
She sported a black top tucked into a pair of jean bum shorts, finishing her look with a black belt holding the shorts in place, matching tights, and red, strappy stilettos. Her wrists and neck are adorned with minimal jewelry, while one side of her blond locks is tucked behind an ear.
Although nobody is sure if the middle finger is directed at Levine, Stroh, or even critics, we know this would be her first social media update since September 18. That day was when Stroh made a TikTok video detailing her alleged affair with Levine.
In the clip, which quickly went viral, the 23-year-old accused the “Sugar” singer of “manipulating” her into the year-long experience soon after she finished college. The University of Texas alum informed viewers she “knows the stereotypes” about IG models, disclosing that she originally planned to handle the issue privately.
Unfortunately, she “recklessly” shared screenshots with her friends and one of them attempted to sell the story to a tabloid, pushing her to go public. She also stated that Levine told her his marriage was “over” and had asked her if he could name his third child after her.
His wife — who shares five-year-old Dusty Rose and four-year-old Gio Grace with him — had announced that she was expecting their third baby together on September 15. Observers speculated that it was the love for their kids that kept Prinsloo by her man’s side.
As it turned out, The Blast shared that in early October, the 34-year-old was sighted supporting the “Payphone” hitmaker during his gig at a charity gala in Las Vegas. Levine and his band were billed to perform on the MGM Grand Hotel stage at the event hosted by retired basketball star Shaquille O’Neal.
The weekend event featured notable celebs, such as Flavor Flav, Camille Kostek, Logan Paul, and Rob Gronkowski, in attendance. O’Neal used the opportunity of the occasion to defend Levine, saying:
“He’s great; he’s doing something for the children; he’s always been like that. I’m happy for him. And I wish him luck.”
The Three-Time Grammy Awards Winner Tendered An Apology
As reported by The Blast last month, shortly after Stroh’s video and the messages circulated online, Levine apologized to his wife. Taking to his Instagram Story, the 43-year-old wrote:
“A lot is being said about me right now, and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgement in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.”
After denying ever having an illicit relationship outside his marriage, the “Moves Like Jagger” singer admitted he “crossed the line” and allowed the conversations to become inappropriate.
He added that he had “addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.” What his regrettable actions did was make him take a closer look in the mirror and figure out what truly matters. In the “Won’t Go Home Without You” hitmaker concluded:
“My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it, and we will get through it together.”
Even though Prinsloo is yet to address the allegations in public directly, a source said that “Behati is upset, but she does believe him that there was no physical affair. They have been together this entire time. She feels they are happily married and is shocked to find out what was going on behind her back.”
