A Fifth Woman Is Exposing Adam Levine, 'You're In College, Right?'

A 21-year-old fitness model named Ashley Russell is the fifth woman to come forward with claims of inappropriate messages from Adam Levine.

Russell runs an Instagram fitness account where she regularly posts videos of herself working out. This is how the Maroon5 singer found out about her. While her account has under 5000 followers, Levine was able to find her and hit on her.

Russell spoke to the DailyMail where she detailed how the flirting started and to what lengths. “I would check every time I posted a story, which was every day, and it was always viewed by him,” she claimed.

She noted that “almost every day at night at around 10 p.m,” was the time the singer would engage With her profile. Russell was 20 at the time the flirting took place.

“He would like mainly like booty stories and would always reply with something to do with leg or booty day at the gym.”

The fitness model backed up her allegations with screenshots of her DMs and Instagram Story that Levine commented on. The first thing he messaged her was, “‘Leg day. The most important and the easiest to skip.” Levine is very into taking care of his physique.

The conversation turned a little creepy when Levine had to sneak in that crucial age verification, “You’re in college right?,” once she confirmed she was 20, he went ahead and complimented her legs a few more times.

The college student is covering her own butt by insisting to DailyMail that she believed his behavior was “weird” but she wanted to continue the conversations to see how far the father of almost 3 would take things with her.

Russell claims she was curious about that same thing and asked the singer point blank. “He said he found me from his Discover Page on Instagram because he is ‘big into fitness’ and I have a fitness account. I knew it was weird so I wanted to keep it going to see if it got worse.”

She went on to say that once Levine could sense she wasn’t into pursuing anything sexual he backed off and then totally disappeared. “When I told him he was going to get caught DMing girls like me he stopped texting me.”

While Levine wasn’t directly messaging the fitness model anymore he was still keeping tabs on her by watching her Instagram Story.

“I think this is the true meaning of disrespect towards a woman,” she said to the DailyMail. “It makes me very sad that he is married and does this immature thing.” She also went on to say the most GenX thing possible, “I wonder what his [feed] looks like… all young women? Very odd to me.”

Russell has joined a growing list of women who are coming forward with claims that the singer has spoken with them in an inappropriate manner online. Most are Instagram models or fitness models.

Levine has already released a statement acknowledging his wrongdoing and also made a public appearance with his model wife who is currently pregnant. But that isn’t stopping any of these women from coming forward.
