Vanessa Morgan is showing her son’s face for the first time!
The “Riverdale” star, 29, welcomed baby son River Kopech, whom she shares with estranged husband Michael Kopech, 25, to the world on January 30. Although she has shared a series of snaps of her newborn since giving birth, the Canadian actress has yet to reveal River’s face to the world — until recently when she shared snaps from an intimate photoshoot she had with her son. Vanessa ditched her top, wearing only denim bottoms for the shoot. Meanwhile, little River appeared cozy in his light brown onesie with long sleeves and a black beanie. Vanessa’s assets were covered by the body carrier she used to carry her child.
She and her baby were snapped in a forest-like setting.
“My River, teaching me how to flow, while carving his own path along the way 💙 I love you my boy,” Vanessa captioned the post.
She also gave credit to the talented photographer who took the shots by writing, “Thankyou @shannonkook for capturing the most beautiful shots 📸”

In July 2020, the “My Babysitter’s a Vampire” actress announced that she was expecting her first child, six months after marrying her athlete husband.
“Exciting news… I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January 💙,” she wrote on July 24. “This little guy has already brought me so much happiness and a feeling of such a greater purpose. I cannot wait to meet you!! On a personal note, I have had the blessing of growing up in the public eye having started my acting career at age 6. While this has been incredible for me, I am very much looking forward to giving this little guy some room to grow up outside of the public eye, until he tells me otherwise 🙂.”
She added, “Lil one you were made with so much love & already exude a light so strong it warms my belly. Thank you God for this blessing ☺️ I’m just so happy & can’t wait to dedicate everyday to being the best mommy I can be ♥️ ‘I’ll love you forever I’ll like you for always as long as I’m living my baby you’ll be 🎶 ‘- if you know you know #preggers 🤰🏽 #quarantine🎁 👶🏼”
Splitting From Her Husband
Vanessa didn’t tag Kopech on the post.
In a report by the Chicago Tribune, the White Sox pitcher filed for divorce from his wife just five months after they tied the knot in Florida. However, the two reunited again during the birth of their child in January.
