"We can't just go out on a whim and be like, hey, let's go out for a drink," she mentioned. "We have a kid, and we usually bring our kids to everything. KJ is good with that too. We bring our kids everywhere, so they experience everything and socialize."

She mentioned that their children, River and Sasha, have developed a bond, adding that she possessed adorable pictures of the kids "chilling on the couch with their bottles like looking like the boys in their diapers."

Vanessa Morgan Gave Birth Through A Cesarean Section

While Morgan is now reveling in motherhood, she recalled her experience while birthing her child during the COVID pandemic. She even had to undergo a cesarean section.

"I was so scared, but I was like, well, obviously I didn't carry a baby for 10 months for him not to make it," she reminisced. "Your mom instincts just kind of come in, and I knew I had to do that. It was so painful when they numb your body for it, but you know, he made it; he's all good."

After the birth of her son, she was left with a scar, which she recently honored with a new tattoo.

"This specific tattoo originated from the Japanese word 'Kintsugi,' which is broken pottery with gold, and the meaning behind that is that it's considered more beautiful for having been broken," she explained. "I love that meaning and thought that was a perfect way to honor my scar."

She concluded, "It was really special to honor my C-section scar. I felt more beautiful for having undergone that surgery and brought my son into the world."

She Gave Birth Six Months After Kopech Filed For A Divorce

The birth of Morgan's baby came six months after Kopech filed for a divorce from her. Per E! News, the Major League Baseball athlete filed for a divorce on June 19, 2019, a month before the "Riverdale" actress announced that she was expecting her baby.

"Was debating keeping this part of my life hidden, but I knew people would see pictures eventually with my belly & I wanted you guys to hear it from me. I want to keep this chapter of my life private but want to be the first to share the news. I am delighted to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January," Morgan shared with her fans.

In the months which followed the divorce, the actress celebrated many pregnancy milestones without involving her estranged husband. One included her visits to the doctor, where she posted an ultrasound of her baby, calling him a "little kicker."
