Addison Rae is saying EVERYTHING without saying much at all.

The “He’s All That” actress recently revealed that she has been in contact with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

This is pretty shocking and revealing given Addison has recently faced MAJOR criticism and backlash from fans given she is rumored to attend this year’s MET Gala.

The Blast has been covering all of the drama since it started earlier this month.

Basically, fans of the MET Gala are beyond ticked off that an influencer such as Addison is even invited.

In fact, just a few weeks ago Instagram gossip account Deuxmoi published information from an anonymous user that Addison and YouTuber Emma Chamberlain are slated to walk to MET red carpet.

Other influencers like Charli and Dixie D’Amelio are also rumored to have gotten an invite to the coveted event.

This doesn’t sit well with fans because celebrities and musicians such as Taylor Swift, Doja Cat and Olivia Rodrigo have (at this point) not been reported to have been invited.

High profile celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, Gigi Hadid and more have been repeat attendees in years past, so not to add T-Swift to the mix this year is disheartening to fans.

While attending the premiere of her movie, “He’s All That,” earlier this week, Addison spilled some tea to Variety.

According to the outlet, the TikTok star said she had been emailing with Ms. Wintour in recent weeks.

“I got an email from her and I was freaking out,” the 20-year-old said. “She was just saying thank you for something I sent over. It was wild. I was shaking. We emailed a little bit. It was exciting.”

Alright so this isn’t a confirmation, but it’s also not a denial. And that fact she sent a gift… seems pretty suspicious to me.

When pried about her MET Gala appearance, Addison played coy and simply said, “There are a lot of exciting things coming up.”

The former LSU student even poked fun at all the MET Gala backlash earlier this week by retweeting a meme that involved her being mistaken for a waiter by Lady Gaga.

This meme came into existence years ago after Gaga innocently mistook Ed Sheeran for a waiter at the 2015 Grammys.

While passing by her table she stopped him and asked him for a glass of champagne. When he replied, “I’m Ed,” Gaga said, “Oh Ed, could you please get me champagne.”

Clearly, Gaga didn’t know he was THE Ed Sheeran.

So, Addison decided to play along with the internet and reposted a meme with her in the place of Ed and the incident going down t the MET Ball.
