More Hollywood icons are rallying behind Spencer Pratt.
The former reality television personality declared his intention to run for office as the Mayor of Los Angeles in January and has since gathered vocal and financial support from several angles. As the day of the elections draws near, more lips continue to sing his praises and endorse their support for his political aspirations.
Spencer Pratt’s journey into politics was spiked by the loss of his home in last year’s Pacific Palisades wildfire, and it has not been smooth. He has been faced with some backlash from fellow industry stars and even a family member.
Spencer Pratt Has Scooter Braun In His Corner For Mayor

It is no secret that many celebrities have given their voice to Pratt’s cause since he announced his candidacy earlier this year, and that list just got longer. Scooter Braun has joined the Pratt supporters club, as scrutiny around his girlfriend, Sydney Sweeney’s political stance, continues to make waves.
Braun gave his two cents on the political space between the former TV star and the current Mayor, Karen Bass, and from his words, it appears he is silently rooting for Pratt. “I never tell people who I vote for. I’m a moderate, so I kind of vote both ways,” the former manager of Justin Bieber began.
“And what I really do appreciate about what Spencer [Pratt] is doing is he is bringing a lot of things to light that no one has brought to light,” he continued.
Speaking further on the podcast where he shared his views, Braun noted that he thinks “The Hills” alum is “speaking for a lot of people who are very frustrated and want common sense and want people to speak plainly and address certain things.”
The Daily Mail reported that he expressed that watching Pratt’s journey has been an interesting view, and there is a good possibility that he can win the Mayoral elections.
The Aspiring Mayor Raised The Stakes Naming A-Listers As Supporters

Pratt recently raised a stir in a recent interview where he discussed his political aspirations and the widespread attention surrounding his run for office. During the interview, the father of two was asked whether he had received any private endorsements.
The Blast reports that without hesitation, Pratt drops the names of two Oscar-winning actors, saying that they have declared their faith in his vision in the presence of witnesses. He described the moment when they voiced their support as an “out-of-body experience.”
“Usually I don’t name-drop, but I had two of my favorite people ever support me,” he began before adding, “Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx both said, ‘Please, Mr. Mayor, we want these streets safe again.’ If their reps try to deny this happened, I have multiple witnesses.”
As it stands, DiCaprio has yet to address the alleged endorsement publicly. Other entertainers have boosted his campaign online; some have urged L.A. residents to vote for Pratt on their platforms, and David Foster and Katharine McPhee even hosted an upscale fundraiser at their home in his honor.
Some Industry Stars Are On The Other Side Of The Fence

While the supporters keep trooping in, some naysayers are standing by their belief that Pratt is not the man for the job.
Drew Carey is one of the high-profile figures who is not on the former TV personality’s side. He previously took to social media, urging citizens to reconsider their support for Pratt.
“I understand being angry/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass,” Carey wrote. “F-ck this guy already,” Carey claimed.
Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Rinna also expressed that while she loves Pratt, she does not believe another reality TV figure has the seasoned hands needed to run the city.
When asked at the American Music Awards who she believes should become the next mayor of Los Angeles, she replied, “Not a reality star. I’m sorry. I love him, but we already tried that before. We don’t need to do it again.”
Stephanie Pratt Changed Her Tune About Her Brother’s Mayor Hopes

Shortly after Pratt declared his intentions to run for Mayor, his sister, Stephanie, strongly spoke out against it, claiming he is incompetent to fill the role on social media.
She also unwound several alleged memories from the past, claiming that her brother was in a cult and got her hooked on drugs in their teenage years.
At the time, Stephanie mocked Pratt’s supporters and declared that Los Angeles did not need “another unqualified and inexperienced mayor.” She further alleged he was getting into politics in the bid to stay relevant and sell his memoir.
The Blast shares that the story has changed, as she expressed in a recent interview. She admitted that watching her brother’s journey as he prioritized the progress, well-being, and safety of Los Angeles deeply touched her heart.
Stephanie also pointed out that the intensity of his response to the Pacific Palisades tragic wildfire has altered her perspective, shifting it to a more positive light.
Spencer Pratt Clapped Back At Lisa Rinna’s Statements

As previously stated, Rinna dismissed the idea of another reality TV star taking a place at the head of affairs of the city of Los Angeles, and Pratt did not let it slide. He pointed out that his days on television were 20 years ago, referring to his time on “The Hills,” and then took a jab at Bass’ past as well.
“Hey Lisa, if you’re against me because I was on a TV show in my 20’s, wait till you learn what Karen Bass was doing in her 20s…” he wrote on X, tagging Tinna’s interview. Pratt went on to say that the incumbent Mayor was “in Cuba learning how to make bombs with the people who would then go to bomb Capitol Hill.”
He noted that with his background placed in comparison to Bass’, he is quite proud of what he was doing in his 20’s on reality television. The Blast reports that the 42-year-old admitted that he may not have been the most likable character on TV at the time.
“It was still TV, versus trying to destroy America and going to Cuba 20 times and praising Fidel Castro. So, against my opponent, my background is pretty strong,” Pratt concluded his post.
Apparently, the support club keeps growing for Spencer Pratt!
