There might be no forgiveness for Timbaland after he said that Justin Timberlake should have put a muzzle on Britney Spears.

After joking that Britney was “crazy,” he went on to say, “I wanted to call JT and say 'Man! You should have put a muzzle on that girl.'”

Although the audience laughed, the Internet thought that there was nothing funny about his “joke,” especially after news that Britney had an abortion during their three-year relationship because Justin wasn’t ready to be a father at the time.

Timbaland SLAMMED For Saying Justin Timberlake Should Have ‘Put A MUZZLE’ On ‘Crazy’ Britney Spears

On November 7, a brief 18-second clip was uploaded to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. It did not take fans long to respond to the comments.

“Timbaland is the one who needs a muzzle. We didn’t forget about his gross Aaliyah comments. He's still upset Britney didn’t want to work with him. A nasty man,” one fan commented, referring to when he and Aaliyah worked together on “One in a Million.”

At the time, Aaliyah was 16 years old while Timbo was 23. "When I first met Aaliyah, it's time for the world to hear this," he said, via XXL Mag. "I'ma give up a little secret, I was in love with her. I said but she's just a baby, I'm old. I said to myself, I'm just gon' be her brother. Oh man, I was fighting. I was fighting a big war but I loved Aaliyah."

“I’m glad Britney is speaking up. Their reactions are just proving that everything she said is true,” another follower commented.

“And he wonders why Britney is far more successful than both of them combined. Britney can show us her dog and instantly that dog is more famous already than ‘Timbaland,’” another fan chimed in.

Timbaland Once Claimed That Britney ‘Should Humble Herself’

“Timbaland is digging himself a deeper hole with Britney Spears Stans by sticking up for Justin Timberlake with his disrespectful comments,” another follower commented along with a screenshot of an old interview with Entertainment Weekly.

In the interview, Timbaland claimed that Britney “needs a story,” adding, “She needs to come back with Justin doing records.” When asked if there was a chance for Britney to work with both Timbaland and the “Cry Me A River” singer, Timbaland replied, “She should humble herself” and apologize.

However, given what fans have learned from the pop star in her memoir, they think that it is actually Justin – and now Timbaland – who owe her the apology.

In an excerpt of “The Woman In Me,” released by People magazine one week before her tell-all memoir officially hit shelves, the "Toxic" singer revealed that she had an abortion after "Justin was so sure" he didn't want to be a father.

“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she wrote in her memoir. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father,” she continued, adding, “To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.”

In addition to the unplanned pregnancy, the 41-year-old pop star also reflected on allegations of infidelity and admitted that Justin cheated on her a "couple of times" during their three-year relationship, which lasted from 1999 to 2002.
