Pop star Britney Spears has divulged many private details about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, in her new memoir, “The Woman In Me.”
Although the two only dated from 1999 to 2002, the now 41-year-old pop star reflected on allegations of infidelity as well as the bombshell revelation that the two navigated an unplanned pregnancy in her tell-all book.
Unfortunately for the "Cry Me A River" singer, it seems that the backlash was too much to take, as he quickly disabled comments on his Instagram posts in the wake of the backlash he received from her memoir.
Justin Timberlake Disables Comments On Instagram Following Britney Spears Memoir Bombshells
It seems that the "Mirrors" crooner could not take the comments that he was facing on social media and decided to disable comments on his Instagram account. A source told Page Six on Thursday that he couldn't stand the "hateful, disgusting things people were saying" about him on his page. As for Britney, she has turned comments off on Instagram posts for most of the last year.
Although netizens are no longer able to comment on Justin's page, it hasn't stopped some from sharing screenshots to X, formerly known as Twitter, and TikTok. Many users took Justin to task for the unplanned pregnancy, where Britney noted in her memoir that he wasn't ready to be a father.
“Just a random question: what do you guys think about ‘exposing’ your ex’s virginity in public, blaming her for everything, making her get an abortion cause you don’t want to be a dad, getting famous by a song you make about including a lookalike of her…?” one follower asked.
Sources told TMZ on Thursday afternoon that his *NSYNC bandmates – Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and JC Chasez – are “supporting him” amid the new revelations. An insider also mentioned that this isn't stopping Justin from focusing on new music and will not postpone his planned 2024 tour.
Justin Is Also Being Called Out Due To His 'Blaccent'
In an excerpt from her memoir, "The Woman In Me," released by People magazine, the "Toxic" singer wrote about the time she and Justin were in New York City when he recognized Ginuwine.
“His band *NSYNC was back then what people called ‘so pimp.’ They were white boys but they loved hip-hop. To me, that’s what separated them from the Backstreet Boys, who seemed very consciously to position themselves as a white group,” Britney wrote in her memoir. “*NSYNC hung out with Black artists. Sometimes I thought they tried too hard to fit in."
“One day J and I were in New York, going to parts of town I had never been to before. Walking our way was a guy with a huge, blinged-out medallion. He was flanked by two giant security guards," she continued. "J got all excited and said so loud, ‘Oh yeah, fo’ shiz fo’ shiz, Ginuwine, what’s up homie?’ After Ginuwine walked away, Felicia [Spears' assistant] did an impression of J ... J wasn’t even embarrassed. He just took it and looked at her like, ‘OK, f— you Fe.’”
Although Britney recorded the introduction to her memoir, the audiobook was narrated by Michelle Williams and fans could not get enough of her narration of the scene!

Although some couldn't really believe that Justin Timberlake would say "fo' shiz," another netizen offered evidence to the contrary.

Last Friday, in a message posted both to X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram, the “Hold Me Closer” singer explained that she never meant to "offend" anyone with her memoir and made it clear that she has "moved on" and is looking for a "beautiful clean slate" from here on out.
“My book’s purpose was not to offend anyone by any means !!! That was me then …that is in the past !!!” she began. “I don’t like the headlines I am reading …that’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago !!! Most of the book is from 20 years ago … I have moved on and it’s a beautiful clean slate from here !!!”
“I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life !!!” she continued. “Either way, that is the last of it and s— happens !! This is actually a book didn’t know needed to be written … although some might be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future !!!”
“Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel particularly alone in most cases or hurt or misunderstood !!! Again, my motive for this book was not to harp on my past experiences which is what the press is doing and it’s dumb and silly !!!” she concluded. “I have moved on since then !! #TheWomaninMe.”
Britney’s tell-all memoir, “The Woman In Me,” was officially released on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
