Lady Gaga may be giving love a second chance! Months after sources announced the popstar's separation from Michael Polansky, the duo were spotted on a date.

When it comes to women who have significantly influenced the music and fashion industries with their unique personalities, the blonde beauty is one of the world's biggest trendsetters. However, her love life has not achieved similar success.

After reportedly ending her longtime romance with the Harvard graduate, the lovebirds stepped out for dinner in their first public sighting since the heartbreaking news of her pal Tony Bennett. Is a reconciliation in progress?

On August 15, the "Poker Face" hitmaker and her ex-boyfriend met for a casual dinner date in Studio City. As seen in pictures obtained the former couple were not formally dressed for the occasion, with the songstress in a short black skirt and a leather blazer.

The "House of Gucci" actress had her blonde tresses styled in a bun with face-framing tendrils. Meanwhile, her companion donned a baggy gray top, black trousers, and a matching black baseball cap.

Although their separation was reported a few months ago, the duo's dinner date marked the first time they had been spotted together in over a year. While their outing sparked reconciliation rumors, the former couple did not drop any hints about a rekindled chemistry as they reportedly kept their distance when leaving the restaurant, per Daily Mail.

It was unclear when the pair first met, but it was theorized the lovebirds might have bumped into each other in 2016. The "Born This Way" artist performed at a cancer benefit hosted by the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. Polansky might have been in attendance as he ran the foundation.

Putting aside their vague first meeting, the exes did not make waves as an item until 2019. Sources claimed the couple began dating shortly after Gaga's engagement to Christian Carino ended. The exact date of their relationship was not shared. However, it was presumed to have started at Sean Parker's birthday party in December 2019.

The duo seemingly confirmed their relationship with a kiss on New Year's Eve but officially announced their romance in February 2020. Gaga made their Instagram couple debut with a cute picture of the pair.

That same month, Polansky supported his lover at her Super Bowl performance. They also celebrated Valentine's Day and worked together on the “Together at Home” fundraiser a month later.

In January 2021, the Harvard graduate was by his lover's side during her performance at President Joe Biden's inauguration. Months later, the Oscar winner confessed her feelings for Polansky in an interview, declaring: “My dogs and the man that I love are my whole life.”

The lovebirds stole hearts with their cuteness at the BAFTAs ceremony, where host Rebel Wilson hilariously awarded the pair a Golden Bra Award. Then the couple were seen at the Critics Choice Awards event in L.A. Although Gaga had the red carpet to herself, Polansky was spotted sitting next to his lover during the show.

Gaga declared she would miss her mentor and their shared memories as the years they spent together transcended the confines of a professional relationship as they became close confidants with a “magical power.”

“I will miss my friend forever. I will miss singing with him, recording with him, talking with him, being on stage together,” the 37-year-old confessed. “With Tony, I got to live my life in a time warp. Tony & I had this magical power.”

Gaga noted about their bond, “We transported ourselves to another era, modernized the music together, & gave it all new life as a singing duo. But it wasn’t an act. Our relationship was very real. Sure, he taught me about music, about showbiz life, but he also showed me how to keep my spirits high and my head screwed on straight.”

Singing his praises, the blonde beauty stated Bennett was an "optimist" and a man big on expressing gratitude. Despite their 5-decade age gap, the deceased entertainer was a "true friend" to the 13-time Grammy winner.

Addressing his death, Gaga admitted: “Losing Tony to Alzheimer’s has been painful, but it was also really beautiful. An era of memory loss is such a sacred time in a person’s life.”
