Olivia Munn and John Mulaney's son might just be one of the cutest babies in the world.
The happy parents who welcomed their adorable son on November 24, 2021, have always taken pride in celebrating every groundbreaking milestone of their little one named Malcolm.
It was no different as the actress put her little one's comprehension ability on display, thus, showing everyone that he was becoming quite a genius.
In a recent update, the "X-Men: Apocalypse" actress shared a short clip via Instagram that showed both parents challenging their son to demonstrate animal sounds, which he flawlessly aced.
Malcolm Takes Sound Lessons From His Parents
As seen in the Instagram Reel uploaded by Munn, the one-year-old was dressed in a baggy white and blue onesie, having a fun moment with his comedian father, who sported a grey sweatshirt and black pants with parts of his dark hair falling to cover his face.
Malcolm sat on his dad's lap to answer some questions from a book Mulaney had in hand. The "Saturday Night Live" alum was seen pointing to a snake in the children's book while urging his son mimic the sound that a snake makes.
Sure enough, the little one responded correctly within seconds with a hiss, prompting another request for the sound of a pig. Again the toddler did not bat an eye as he quickly responded with the "oink" sound and a playful grunt.
His response and expression caused the whole room to laugh before the clip ended. Munn just captioned the post with a snake and a pig emoji. However, many social media admirers had much to say about her wonderful son.
One user wrote what we all thought, "Baby Einstein," accompanied by a red heart emoji. A second fan wrote, "Didn't realize I was gonna see the most adorable baby video ever today."
Another follower noted, "He takes the piggy sounds very seriously 😂 this might be the cutest thing ever." At the same time, a fourth fan appreciated the upload by penning, "this makes me smile. Thank you for sharing. So cute," alongside laughing emoticons.
The mom of one is constantly updating her fans about her incredible tot's development. Although it is primarily positive, she appears to have had mixed feelings about a particular incident.
Early last month, The Blast noted that the "Ride Along 2" actress found it extremely difficult to witness her son become more independent as the day passed. She uploaded a short clip revealing Malcolm handling things around the house like a pro without his mama's help.
Scenes from the video showed the young boy dressed in "Burt's Bees" baby unisex pajamas while attempting to open an off-white painted door. After several attempts, he opened the door slightly.
Realizing his parents were filming, he crawled back to meet them. His producer daddy, Mulaney, chimed in the video, exclaiming, "You opened it," but a less excited Munn attached a caption to the clip, writing, "He's opening doors now??? oh no… I'm not prepared! Aggghh"!"
The Internet Roasted Olivia Munn For Taking Son To Asian Market
A month before showing off her son's intellectual ability, the "Deliver Us from Evil" actress was bombarded with negativity for one particular choice involving her son. The "Iron Man 2" actress got dragged by her followers for taking her son to an Asian market to see dead animals.
On this day, the family of three decided to have a nice outing, using the opportunity to get her son acquainted with her culture, so she shared the unique experience she had with him at the market on her Instagram.
The reel set to the tune of Meghan Trainor's smash hit song, "Made You Look," revealed a moment when she took her son to the seafood section to show him different seafood animals, from fish to snails. Soon after, the "Freeloaders" star was labeled as a bad parent and trashed by non-meat eaters for supporting the killings of animals.
One fan expressed irritation, writing, "Asian market, where you can find lot of most dead animals and look them suffer. What a trash." Another wrote, "How traumatizing…. Way to teach him how we treat wildlife."
Despite getting defended by some of her fans, many more opined that she lacked class and wasn't a good role model.
