Britney Spears Changes Her Instagram Name To 'River Red'

Singer Britney Spears was pretty busy on social media on Thursday night!
After taking to her Instagram Stories to say that her new tattoo had absolutely nothing to do with her ex, Justin Timberlake, she then uploaded a series of posts, most with lengthy captions. Take a look!
Britney Spears Opens Up About Being 'Tipsy In The News'
In her first Instagram video of the night, the 41-year-old pop star was back in her Coca-Cola tube top, tiny red skirt, and matching white boots. In the caption, Britney wrote, “I’ve been at my Aunt Suzy’s house ?, we made 3 pies ? to give at church service this Sunday ⛪️ !!! I hear the men prefer the cherry ? and the women prefer banana ? !!!”
It seems the “Hold Me Closer” singer then changed gears a little bit and talked about the viral incident at a restaurant last Friday, in which customers said that she was “manic.” Britney claimed on Instagram that she was “drunk” while her husband, Iranian actor Sam Asghari, simply said that Britney was uncomfortable with all of the attention at the restaurant and denied allegations that he had stormed out over the way Britney was acting.
“Either way … the news of me being tipsy in the news then exploiting my past is a clever way to make me look like a pardoned woman that we can look at and say AWWW !!!” Britney continued. “My neighborhood friend says I will pay for it the rest of my life !!!”
Britney continued: “I’m sorry dear friend but if you ever got a taste of my pie … I could finally deliver it with my beautiful a** … I think my ignorant ways of trusting these TRUSTEES might have no where else to look …. not at an ice bowl ?or to show relevance but maybe MY A** ? to intertwine real church service verses a blind sighted set up … which one ??♀️??♀️??♀️ ????”
“Pssss different edit of RED !!!!” she added at the end of her post, referring to her outfit. She had previously posted this outfit once before, but it looks like she used a new filter to make the red a slightly different color. As with Britney’s latest Instagram posts, she turned the comments off.
Britney Says She Changed Her Name To 'River Red'
In a second Instagram post on Thursday night, Britney claimed she changed her name to “River Red” after saying she changed her name to “Brooklyn” a few weeks ago.
In the caption, Britney wrote: “A bright one … easy does it !!! Thank you, childhood friend, I found my ball … don’t underestimate the power of purity !!! I see right through it all … it has liquid and is wet … it’s playful and has mass !!! I changed my name to River Red ? !!!"
"Yet the fire ? is where it illuminates ? … to stare at it and jump right in with no fear at all !!!!" Britney continued. "Sh*t. Now I have to find my FORK ??? !!!” It's worth nothing that Britney has changed the bio name on her Instagram page to "River Red."
Fans Aren't Sure What Britney Is Trying To Say!
Elsewhere on Thursday night, Britney uploaded a photo on Instagram that featured several antique keys. However, she does not know who took the picture and she did not write anything else in the caption.
She also posted another photo on Instagram that featured her standing on her private plane, holding a green apple to her forehead. The photo is actually a screenshot from when Britney said she was traveling to New York City last month.
In the caption of an Instagram video dated December 12, 2022, Britney wrote, “New York City here I come !!! How about them apples ??????? ???”
Many fans were concerned about Britney when the paparazzi didn’t catch any pictures from her trip to the Big Apple. An insider later told TMZ that the “Slumber Party” singer never actually planned on going to NYC at all.
Instead, sources claim that she posted that video to throw paps off so that she and Sam Asghari could discreetly travel to Mexico on vacation.
Fans aren't quite sure what Britney's new name is supposed to mean, but perhaps it has something to do with her new tattoo?
