Given her commitment to keeping this brand and ensuring that her legacy as a Christmas royalty goes down in history, it is quite hard to compare anyone to the Huntington native.

However, before Carey's insurmountable achievements, another blonde beauty stood at the peak of the entertainment industry. This legend was none other than Parton, a highly-respected songstress regarded as one of the greatest female entertainers.

The 76-year-old has dropped three hit holiday albums featuring famous tracks like "Mary, Did You Know?" and "A Smoky Mountain Christmas." Excluding her music, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee has starred in many festive films such as "A Country Christmas Story."

Additionally, the Tennessee native went the extra mile for a holiday with massive celebrations at her Dollywood Theme Park. Despite her love for Christmas, the chart-topper refused to be acknowledged as the season's Queen.

In a new cover story for "Better Homes & Gardens," the blonde bombshell shut down the outlet's suggestion about her being the new ruler of the jolly period. Rushing to Carey's corner, Parton said:

"Now, don't you say that! I'm not going to compete with Mariah. I love her. You think of Christmas, you think of Mariah. I'm happy to be second in line to her."

Although Parton gracefully crowned Carey the sole monarch of the holiday, the younger entertainer felt otherwise. Responding to a post about the country star's viral interview on Twitter, the "Obsessed" singer wrote:

Naturally, fans were ecstatic about the mutual love between the entertainers. Similarly, Parton was touched by the "Hero" songstress's response and reaffirmed her affection for the blonde beauty with the comment, "I will always love you ❤️."

It seems the bond between the dynamic duo extended beyond their love for Christmas, as one fan claimed the pair shared a common interest in perfumes. Sharing a picture allegedly taken from the Tennessee native's tour bus, the individual tweeted:

"Mariah! Dolly uses your fragrances on her tour bus tour in @Dollywood! It’s a sign! I recognized them immediately! We need a collaboration from the butterfly queens!"

For those who do not know, the fan's post referenced Carey's signature butterfly perfume and Parton's "Love Is Like a Butterfly" song. The older entertainer also has various butterfly tattoos on her body.

The 'Queen Of Christmas' Trademark Causes War With Fellow Christmas Singers

When Carey announced her plans to trademark her Queen of Christmas moniker, The Blast reported that not everyone was pleased with the idea. Holiday singers like Darlene Love and Elizabeth Chan slammed the mother-of-two for trying to take over the merry season.

Back in March, reports surfaced that the powerhouse songstress requested to trademark the phrase "Queen of Christmas." The 53-year-old believed she deserved to be the only one with the nickname after earning it through her hit holiday single.

Four months later, the trademark application was made public, showing Carey's desire to have exclusive rights to the nicknames "Queen of Christmas, Princess of Christmas, QOC, and Christmas Princess."

Following the announcement, Love and Chan attacked the Grammy Award winner. Chan, who released an album titled "Queen of Christmas," opposed the trademark through her attorney.

In an interview, the "Ghost of Christmas Past" singer explained that no one deserved exclusive rights to Christmas as the holiday was meant for everyone. Love, a veteran Christmas songstress, fired back on Facebook with a lengthy post. The older entertainer noted that she had the "Queen of Christmas" moniker before Carey and would continue to use it regardless of her trademark.
