Mariah Carey and Millie Bobby Brown have a sweet friendship that’s grown and blossomed since they first met. During an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” while promoting season 2 of “Enola Holmes” on Thursday night, Brown discussed her friendship with the pop star she calls “Mimi.”
Millie Bobby Brown Met Mariah Carey After Her Son Carved A “Stranger Things” Themed Pumpkin
While discussing meeting and becoming friends with Carey, the “Stranger Things” actress told Fallon, “We texted today. Oh yeah. She called me today!” Brown explained that the two met after Carey’s son Moroccan carved a pumpkin of her character in “Stranger Things” back in 2019. After seeing the pumpkin, she knew they needed to meet. “Oh I need to meet her son and do the pose and make him think I have superpowers,” she said. “And we met and then obviously I met Mariah and oh, we connected.”
She continued explaining that they connected because they both grew up in the spotlight, among other things. “She grew up in the public eye. We have connected in so many different levels but also, I love the way she leads her life with so much power, and she has so much knowledge and she’s so wise,” Brown said. “And she’s just been such an incredible guiding light for me.”
Brown also discussed having dinner at Carey’s house and the fact that she sometimes just breaks into song. “It’s a real thing. She does it when we’re eating Chinese food,” she said. And when Fallon asked if the two ever sang together, she replied, “We have sung together, like in her studio, sung together.” Fallon then excitedly asked if there is any possibility of a collaboration. “Potentially…I mean, she’s always doing something. She’s like the busiest woman ever,” the actress replied.

Millie Bobby Brown Recently Attended The Red Carpet Premiere Of “Enola Holmes” Season 2
Brown reprises her role in “Enola Holmes” for season two as Sherlock Holmes’ little sister who takes on her first detective case to find a missing girl. She’s also a producer. “It’s so funny, it’s so good, it’s well written, it’s charming,” Fallon said. “So now you’re back with two, ‘Enola Holmes 2.'”
Brown explained that this was something she wanted to do for a long time. “This is something that I had been wanting to do since I was little,” she said. “My older sister and I have collaborated on this project and made sure it came to light in the most authentic and British way as possible. I never had growing up, a female British lead to look up to and Enola is that for me and it’s been an amazing experience creating it.”
The New York City premiere for the second season of the hit show recently took place, and Carey and her twins attended to support Brown.
Season two of “Enola Holmes” premieres on Netflix on November 4.
