Mariah Carey Is Twinning With Daughter Monroe During Night Out

Mariah Carey and her 11-year-old daughter Monroe were twinning during their mother-daughter night out on the town Saturday.  The pair were dressed in matching outfits and had a matching "hair extravaganza" look. Carey, 52, posted photos from their twinning adventure on both Instagram and Twitter.

On Instagram, Carey simply captioned one of the photos of the two looking ready for an exciting night out, "Roe Roe Diva!?…And MImi!!??" The fabulous duo wore matching outfits and braided hair with perfect curls. Carey's longtime boyfriend Bryan Tanaka commented with a single red heart. Heidi Klum left, "??❤️❤️" in the comments. Singer Anastacia wrote, "Mini Mimi?❤️I got it from my mama?." Other friends and followers left similar messages with red hearts, heart-eye emojis, flames and compliments.

In a second photo shared on Instagram from their night out captioned, "My ??," the mother-daughter duo are seen standing outside of a building on the sidewalk looking ready to go. One follower wrote, "Twinning ?‍♀️ Mariah’s not regular mom, she’s a cool mom," while another added, "Diva and diva in-training ?."

Just a few weeks ago, Carey posted a photo of her with Monroe captioned, "Celebrating #Butterfly25 with my Roe Roe and getting ready for #GlobalCitizen! ??" and many of her followers commented with hearts, flames and excitement.

Last month, Carey not only celebrated the 25th anniversary of "Butterfly" but also launched a butterfly-themed jewelry collection with Chopard. She told PEOPLE that she doesn't "acknowledge time." "So it's 25 seconds, 25 minutes, whatever we want to call it. Seriously, after going through what I had to go through to even create the 'Butterfly' album and to break free from that shell...it's part of my 25 years and that's kind of unbelievable," she explained. "It represents so much to me as just a human being, and particularly as a woman."

When asked about her favorite piece from the collection, Carey said it's the butterfly necklace. "It's so symbolic. Caroline Scheufele, the Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, and I were on the phone just riffling while she was sketching it out," she said. "It was like when people come to the studio and we're creating something and they're watching it happen. She sent me the sketch and I'm going to frame it. But first I really need someone to come help me figure out my closet."

With the holiday season upon us, Carey recently shared the exciting news of her new Christmas book that comes out on November 1. The book, "The Christmas Princess" has Carey's friends and followers excited with anticipation for the holiday themed children's book to be released. Jordan Sparks commented, "ITS ALMOST MARIAHCARISTMAS TIME!!!! ??????." Kris Jenner added, "I can’t wait for this!!!! ???❤️❤️❤️" Kerry Washington wrote, "OMG OMG THE QUEEN OF CHRISTMAS!"

Carey, who shares Monroe and her twin brother Moroccan with ex-husband Nick Cannon, often posts photos of her two children on social media. This summer, she took the twins to Cedar Point for some roller coaster fun and shared a photo of the three of them in front of one of the coasters on Instagram.
