Lana Del Rey Breaks Silence On Stolen Laptop Containing Valuable Content!

Lana Del Rey disclosed that her laptop and other devices were stolen from her a few months ago.
The singer shared that the items were taken from her car, which she parked on Melrose Place, Los Angeles, during an outing. Lana said the laptop had various unpublished songs, private family footage, and her forthcoming book.
Despite the setback, the musician revealed she still intends to put out new songs, including her upcoming ninth studio album. On October 21, her latest song with Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift, "Snow on the Beach," will be released.

Lana Del Rey Opens Up About Stolen Laptop
In a recent Instagram live, the 37-year-old shared that she lost her laptop alongside multiple hard drives and camcorders when her backpack was stolen from her car parked in an apartment community in Los Angeles County.
"A few months ago, I parked my car on Melrose Place, and I stepped away for a minute," the singer shared in an Instagram Live video on October 19. "And the one time I left my backpack inside my car, someone broke all of the windows and took it."
Lana revealed numerous pieces of unpublished music, and her upcoming book was on the stolen devices, adding that they were not yet uploaded to the cloud. Although she later remotely deleted the files on her laptop, the singer said that the perpetrators somehow discovered a means to access her phone.
"I had to remotely wipe the computer that had my 200-page book for Simon and Schuster—which I didn't have backed up on the cloud," Lana added. "And despite that, people are still able to remotely access my phone and leak our songs and personal photos."

Despite the painful loss, the "Young and Beautiful" crooner remains on track to release new music, including her ninth studio album. "LDR9."
She said, "I just want to mention that despite all of this happening, I am confident in the record to come—despite so many safety factors in so many different levels."
Now more than ever, the singer asserted it was pertinent that she doesn't slack in delivering the best while making music.
"I really want to persist and make the best art I can," she added.
Lana disclosed that her stolen laptop held two years' worth of film of her and her family in addition to the music and the planned book. Her earlier plans to make the collection available to the general public have been suspended due to the loss.
She Has Concerns About Possible Leaks
Although she has already moved over the incident, the singer acknowledged that she still frets about what may be exposed. Lana also admitted that she doubted the culprits would heed a request for privacy.
She said, "I don't even think a plea for respect for some privacy would do anything, but I do want to be honest about the fact I have concerns over what's going to be put out there."
Lana said that the missing devices would put her behind schedule and that she could have to start spending more time on some of the existing projects.
The singer complained, "I think it's important to say it is a bit of a roadblock in terms of the creative process," before adding that she has no plans to leave anything in her car again whenever she is out and about.
Lana Del Rey Set To Debut New Song With Taylor Swift
In the meantime, Lana has collaborated with singer Swift on a new song, "Snow on the Beach," The music, which debuts on October 21, is one of the track's on the "All Too Well" singer's upcoming album, "Midnights."
Swift revealed in a series of TikTok posts, tagged "Midnights Mayhem With Me," the names of the tracks on her album. She notoriously dropped the clips at midnight, with the last reveal coming in the early hours of October 7.
"Tonight we mayhem til the morning!" the singer captioned one of the TikTok posts. "AND release vinyls with pics I signed in them on my site! Gonna be a wild ride."
Apart from Swift and Lana's collaboration, the complete track list featured 12 other songs, including "Lavender," "Anti-Hero, "You're on Your Own, Kid," "Midnight Rain," "Vigilante Shit, "Bejeweled," "Labyrinth, and "Sweet Nothing."
