As it turns out, February 17 is THE day for celebrity birthdays because there certainly are a lot of them!
Michael Jordan, 59
Former basketball star Michael Jordan is known as one of the best basketball players of all time, if not the greatest basketball player of all time. Jordan was born on February 17, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York. That makes today his 59th birthday!
One fun fact about Michael Jordan: He donated his entire 2001-2002 NBA season salary to September 11th relief efforts. Considering he’s 6’6”, you didn’t have to tell us that Jordan has a pretty big heart!
Ed Sheeran, 31
“Shape of You” singer Ed Sheeran was born on February 17, 1991, in Halifax, United Kingdom. That makes him officially 31 years old today! Although he was born in Halifax, he grew up in Suffolk, and started creating songs when he was only 11 years old!
One fun fact about Ed Sheeran is that he started the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation in 2019. His goal is to provide upcoming artists ages 18 and under with “small but hopefully used grants” to start their music careers. At this time, the foundation only accepts applicants that live in Suffolk.
“I feel like I’ve had a lot of support from the area and I feel like I want to give some support back,” he said, adding, “The music foundation won’t be able to help everyone, but it will be able to do some good work.”

Paris Hilton is a media personality, a socialite, a businesswoman, a model, a singer, a DJ, and an actress. In short, Paris has done it all! She was born on February 17, 1981, in New York City. She officially turns 41 years today!

One fun fact about Wright: Ginny Weasley her very first role. She was only nine when she was cast and she was ten when she appeared in “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.” She never acted before her big-screen debut!

Billie Joe Armstrongis a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actor. He’s best known as the lead vocalist, primary songwriter, and lead guitarist of the band Green Day, which he co-founded with Mike Dirnt in 1987. Armstrong was born on February 7, 1972, in Oakland, California. That makes today his 50th birthday!
A great fun fact about Armstrong is that he started making his own songs when he was only five years old! He met Mike Dirnt in elementary school and they immediately bonded over their shared love of music. At age 14, they founded the band Sweet Children, which later became Green Day!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is an actor and filmmaker. He’s received many awards for his acting, and even two Golden Globe Award nominations for Best Actor for a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his leading performances in “500 Days of Summer in 2009” and “50/50” in 2011. Levitt was born on February 17, 1981, in Los Angeles, California, which makes him 41 years old today!
Here’s a fun fact: Levitt is the founder of the online media platform HitRecord. His projects “HitRecord on TV” from 2014 to 2015 and “Create Together” in 2020 won him two Primetime Emmy Awards in the category of Outstanding Interactive Program.

Chord Overstreet, 33
Actor and singer Chord Overstreet is an actor and a musician. He was born on February 17, 1989, in Nashville, Tennessee, which makes him 32 years old today!
