Michael Jordan is that GOAT that needs no introduction on and off the basketball court. The now retired NBA player has etched his name in the stone of times that it's humbling he's not walking on gold floor, but he's wearing it though!

The pro-basketball player made his money and fame working, training and granting partnerships wherever he could. Till this day, Jordan lives in a thriving and luxury life that it's difficult not to be envious of him. 

With such money and title, sometimes, comes pride and Jordan was recently called out for it by a rich rapper.

The 'Jinxed' Childhood Dream

Most American basketball fans love Jordan and would like to meet him one day. For some of them, it would be a life-long dream come true to be able to take a picture with the NBA god-son. 

Hakeem Temidayo Seriki aka Chamillionaire was one of those fans whose dream was to pose for a selfie with the legend. Unfortunately, this dream was shattered in a moment and the rapper walked away with a sad expression on his face.

Revealing his ordeal with fans, Chamillionaire said that Jordan requested $15,000 from him for a Jersey, before he could grant him a personal photo. Sad about the request, the rapper walked away with a jinxed childhood dream.

Chamillionaire is an American rapper and entrepreneur, born in Washington, D.C on November 28, 1979. He began his musical career in 1998 but made his debut in 2005 with a major solo release titled “The Sound Of Revenge.” 

The album earned its place on the Billboard 200 at number ten. After this in 2007, he won his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance for his song titled “Ridin.” 

Fast-forward to 2013, Chamillionaire disclosed that he was working on a new extended play in the studio. This track is said to be a promotion for his new song “Poison.” Presently, Chamillionaire has a net worth of $50 million.

Although, Chamillionaire is nowhere close to Jordan's net worth he is still considered a rich and influential rapper in the industry.

Speaking of net worth, Jordan is NBA's richest player for 2020. According to an estimate from Forbes, the player has a net worth of over $1.6 billion. This wealth was gathered throughout his NBA career and presently he has affiliations with several companies including Nike. 

Jordan also has several investment policies which include Highland Park situated in Illinois, an estate and properties around America. It seems like the NBA legend plans to live in luxury all his life.
