Britney Spears Opens Up About Her New Blue-Eyed Puppy... And Her Pet Cat!

Singer Britney Spears has a lot of love in her life!

After celebrating a romantic Valentine's Day with her fiancé Sam Asghari, Britney revealed that she has two new loves: a puppy and a kitty!

On Tuesday night, Britney posted a video of her new puppy named Sawyer on Instagram.

“Geez .... can you have two loves of your lives because he comes in second !!!!” she began. At least that means that Sam probably comes in first!

“I'm introducing the new edition to my family ... his name is Sawyer and he's a white Australian shepherd with blue eyes !!!!!” she explained.

“I found him in Maui like a dream and took him home with me immediately,” she continued. “It's funny ... he doesn't talk back but it's like he understands what I'm saying !!!! I can talk to him for 30 min about potty training and rewarding him when he goes potty on the pad !!!! I think he understands me especially with those eyes ? ... he makes my heart melt ... he needs me and I like that !!!!!”

Back in December, Britney drove fans wild when she revealed that there was a new addition to the family! The video shows her nursing something in her arms while feeding it with a bottle. She’s turned away from the camera so her fans can’t see what it is.

In the caption, Britney wrote: “New addition to the family ? guess if it’s a boy or a girl ? ? … thank you again baby @samasghari !!!!”

Even Paris Hilton commented with a heart-eye emoji, leading some fans to suspect that Britney let some close friends in on the secret.

Although fans guessed a puppy, a kitten, a baby goat, or even a piglet, Britney finally confirmed that it was a cat! Unfortunately, Britney didn’t share any close-ups of her new feline friend!

“I also have a new cat and will introduce her later but i watched a documentary on cats last night !!!!” she explained. “Such intelligent animals ... dogs think people are God ... cats don't because they know better !!!! Thought that was a cool line ?  !!!”

“My cat is French and very peculiar ... she looks at food as if she is 30 for two min before she eats it ... she's extremely smart and she looks like a miniature cheetah ? !!!!” she added. “Me and security couldn't find her for 2 hours and then when we did she would disappear again !!!!”

“Anyways I have a house FULL of small animals and I like it besides the potty training ?? !!!!” she joked. “Here's me dancing with my baby and he definitely has me FEELING LOVE ? ... That's what I'm dancing to !!!! Anyways have a good night and God bless !!!!! Psss if you look close you can see Sawyer at my foot for one split second shot ?? ?!!!”

Britney posted a video to her Instagram page showing her and Sam riding bicycles along an empty street.

“This man has been with me through it all !!!!” Britney wrote in the caption. “I don’t know what I would do without him so I think I will keep him around a bit longer …. I mean he is pretty hot ? !!!!! I love you @samasghari ????????? !!!!”

In her Instagram Stories, Donatella Versace shared a photo of Britney and Sam standing side by side.

Britney is wearing a red robe with golden trim on the cuffs and waist. Her name is emblazoned in gold letters along the back. Sam has his own cotton white knee-length robe, with his name also emblazoned on the back in golden letters.
