Britney Spears Shares Valentine's Day With Sam Asghari: 'I Think I Will Keep Him Around A Bit Longer'

Singer Britney Spears is feeling the love this Valentine’s Day!

On Monday, she posted a video of her and her fiancé, Sam Asgari, riding bicycles together around an empty street.

Britney posted a video to her Instagram page showing the two of them riding bicycles along an empty street.

“This man has been with me through it all !!!!” Britney wrote in the caption. “I don’t know what I would do without him so I think I will keep him around a bit longer …. I mean he is pretty hot ? !!!!! I love you @samasghari ????????? !!!!”

Fans showered the post with heart emojis, but that wasn’t the only time Britney gave fans a sneak peek into her Valentine’s Day plans!

On Saturday, Britney shared a video of a heart-shaped cake to her Instagram page. It looks like someone was celebrating Valentine’s Day early!

The cake was decorated with pink frosting and white, piped icing around the edges of the heart. The top was decorated with white chocolate-covered strawberries dyed with pink food dye and topped with a handful of cherries.

“Yes I made it … but I had to eat the top of it off ??? !!!” Britney wrote in the caption.

Fans gave her baked culinary creation a thumbs-up of approval.

“There’s nothing BRIT can’t do!!! ??????” one fan wrote.

“Gordon Ramsey is shaking rn ?” another fan joked.

“Chef in the works ?” another added.

“CHEFNEY,” another fan teased.

But that wasn't the only sweet treat Britney was digging into!

Britney posted another video to Instagram on Saturday, showing her suggestively smearing her finger through a small plate of melted chocolate chips.

“Is it possible to bathe in chocolate ????” she asked in the caption of the video.

“That moan,” one fan commented, referring to Britney’s small moan when she licks the chocolate off her finger at the end of the video.

“Someone get this girl some Nutella,” another fan wrote.

“Who doesn’t love a bathroom chocolate moment?” another fan asked. Given the white clamshell sink next to the tray, it looks like Britney is indulging in a bathroom.

Perhaps she is really trying to take a chocolate bath after all?

The cute couple has been dating ever since late 2016, but they didn’t make their relationship Instagram official until January 2017. Sam revealed that they met on the set of her music video “Slumber Party.”

“A good friend of mine was working on the music video at the time,” Sam recalled. “They told the casting director, ‘You should cast this guy,’ and then they sent my pictures to my [future] girlfriend and she picked it. She said, ‘I want this guy.’ And that’s how it was.”

“At the music video, we connected, we talked,” he added. “We talked about, ‘What do you like to eat? Sushi.’ … And then [exchanged] text messages and, next thing you know, a date. Just like a normal couple.”

Their relationship has been going strong, even though Britney’s public conservatorship battle that ended late last year.

In 2019, a source told In Touch that Sam was a “good influence” on Britney through her ongoing legal struggles.

“Britney is very anxious and is trying her best not to let her family and legal situation worsen her anxiety,” a source reported. “She’s been really trying to use healthy tactics to counteract the anxiety. Sam has been helping Britney every step of the way and trying to keep her mind off things. He’s a good influence in that sense.”

“Sam has been taking her on hikes in picturesque locations and running outdoors to try to combat the stress,” the insider continued. “They both love doing things like that. Britney wouldn’t normally feel comfortable hiking in a public spot, but Sam makes her feel safe.”

In early September 2021, Sam was spotted shopping in Beverly Hills for a diamond ring. On September 12, the couple officially became engaged when Britney announced that he had asked for her hand in a video she posted to Instagram.
