Pauly D got to take a trip down “Jersey Shore” memory lane this week during an appearance on the “Full Send” podcast.
On Wednesday, January 26, “Full Send” uploaded their sit-down interview with the DJ at Katsuya in Los Angeles, CA.
He dished on all the dirty details about “Jersey Shore,” and the sex tapes from Seaside Heights that are somewhere out in the universe.
In the event you’ve never seen ‘JS,’ it’s a reality TV show on MTV about four single Guidos and five single Guidettes picked to live in a house at the Jersey Shore.
Pauly D Reminisces On “Jersey Shore”

Season one consisted of Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Angelina Pivarnik, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, DJ Pauly D, Vinny Guadagnino, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.
Angelina left not long after season one began.
You may have heard catchphrases such as, “GTL: Gym, Tan Laundry,” “Cabs Are Here,” “Dirty Little Hampster” or “I’m a good person.”
Copious amounts of alcohol and partying were involved at the Jersey Shore house.
“Full Send” host, Bob Menery, asked Pauly D, “Did you f**k every single of the girls?”
“No, we were bringing girls from the club. There was some hooking up in the house, but…” the DJ said trailing off.

Following up the sex question, Menery then asked, “How many girls have you f**ked since season 1 to… ?”
In true Pauly D form, he joked, “There was a lot of auditions. I was looking for a girlfriend, but they didn’t make the cut so you have to try, audition them in and out. Listen we had a lot of partying, so there was a lot of… it was casual. So, it [sex] was pretty much every night.”

So, how did this young DJ from Rhode Island get discovered for “Jersey Shore?”
One word: Myspace!
Pauly D Was Discovered On Myspace
In the event you’re too young to know what this word means; Myspace was basically the Facebook before Facebook.
“I got a message on Myspace one day. I never auditioned for TV a day in my life. I got a message on Myspace it said, ‘Hey, I’m a casting director. We like your look, we’re doing a show,’” he explained. “My [profile] picture of was me in a tank-top, with a tan and tattoos with an Italian flag in the background.”

At first, Pauly didn’t bite. He ignored the message and continued DJing in Rhode Island.
“I didn’t think it was real, so I didn’t give them my information until one day I came home from the club DJing and I’m like, ‘You know what, let me give them my number.’ I give them my number and they called the very next day,” he said.
After the call, MTV filmed one day in his life and then he didn’t hear from them for six months.
They filmed season one for thirty days without ANY pay.
Yep, the entire cast filmed season one of “Jersey Shore” for free.
Pauly recalled, “There’s somebody working on set all night, so you can’t really get much sleep. There’s alcohol, there’s clubbing. That 30 days you destroy your body.”
There Are Definitely Sex Tapes Of The Cast Somewhere Out There
When the show got picked up for a second and third season, that’s when the money started rolling in.
Pauly D, Nicole and Mike were among the highest paid cast members for a period of time.
So, given there was a lot of sex happening in the house… did the cameras shut off when it was time for some hanky panky?

“We’d bring these girls home or whatever and all they can actually film is the covers going over us, so you know what happens. But they don’t actually film the act, well they do,” Pauly explained.
They filmed everything second of every day of things happening in the house, but for obvious reasons, the X-rated footage never made it to air.
“They have that footage somewhere, like that’s in a safe somewhere. Those are our sex tapes. There’s a lot of them. I wanna sell those one day,” he joked. “No, but those tapes exist. We always joke about it. We’re like, ‘Yo, where’s that footage?’”
WOW, ‘GTL’ just got a whole new meaning… “Guidos Taping Lovemaking.”
