Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi Reveals NEVER Before Told Secrets About ‘Jersey Shore’ Cast!

Thursday, August 3, marked a couple of milestones for the “Jersey Shore” reality TV star.

First off, Snooki and Deena Cortese Buckner debuted their new podcast, “The Meatball Pod.”

Secondly, season 6B of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” comes out, and this season sees the iconic return of Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola.

In the inaugural episode of ‘TMP,’ Deena and Snooki revealed multiple never before told secrets about ‘JS’ and their cast mates.

Season one of “Jersey Shore” came out in 2009 and introduced the world to a gaggle of “Guidos” and “Guidettes.”

The cast consisted of Snooki, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Angelina Pivarnick, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, and DJ Pauly D.

The show followed this motley crew of 20 to 30 something-year-old’s in Seaside Heights at the Jersey Shore.

However, there was one person who was SUPPOSED to be on season one but was replaced by another cast member.

“Deena was supposed to be on the original ‘Jersey Shore,’ so I don’t know who wasn’t supposed to be there. I hope it wasn’t me,” Snooki said.

Deena came into the ‘JS’ family in season three, but her and Snooki’s friendship began before season one ever went on air.

“We actually met on MySpace,” Snooki revealed. “I was dating someone in Jersey who was friends with Deena, so that’s how I saw her on MySpace and everything, and I was like, ‘I need to meet this girl. I love her energy.' I loved your profile and your pictures.”

“Nicole kind of like fangirled me a little bit. You would like to comment under my pictures and videos,” Deena added. “So, me and Nicole were friends. We talked through MySpace and she was like, ‘Are you going to do this Jersey Shore thing?’ Because we both, like, I mean we all knew about it.”

Fun fact, MTV producers had no clue Snooki and Deena were friends prior to filming, and Snooki actually called Dee on the iconic duck phone during season one.

“I think you called me almost every night in the beginning,” Deena revealed.

Snooki added, “I didn’t like anyone at first. I didn’t mesh.”

Prior to filming the inaugural season of ‘JS,’ multiple potential cast members were sequestered in a hotel for days.

Deena had a family emergency prior to being cast on ‘JS,’ so she had to back out.

MTV producers never forgot about her and were planning to bring her onto season two of the show, which was filmed in Miami, FL.

However, the producers eventually decided that she would make her grand “Guidette” entrance to the shore house in season three.

Now, here’s a BIG NEVER BEFORE TOLD BOMBSHELL.

Snooki explained that the original cast, minus her and one other person, were almost axed from season three.

“I don’t think we’ve ever said this before… after we shot Miami the producers took me and Pauly [D] aside and they were like, ‘You guys are going to go to the next season. We’re getting a whole new cast.’”

Thankfully (and luckily), the rest of the cast was asked back.

“Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” season 6B premieres tonight on MTV.
