Peter Dante just added another legal problem to his life, after the same neighbor who got him arrested, filed a restraining order claiming the actor threatened to kill him and his family.
According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, a packaging executive named Charles Veiseh is asking a judge to keep the 'Waterboy' star away from him and his wife and children. In the filing, Charles says Dante is a "neighbor at my new residence under construction," and the two are at each other's throats over the noise.
"Mr. Dante approached me and said 'If you ever come near my property again I will kill you,'" Veiseh claims.
He continued, "He went further to say he would harm my wife and children." Plus, the neighbor claims Dante "ran towards him" while the two were arguing and he "had to flee inside the construction site." In the filing, Veiseh says Dante has been "loitering" outside of his home.
'Waterboy' Star Accused Of Charging Towards Neighbor After Threatening Him
According to Dante's neighbor, several construction workers were witnesses to the criminal threats and it appears they spoke to police after they arrived on the scene.
Interestingly, the neighbor is only asking for Dante to stay 2 yards away from his construction site. In other words, he just doesn't want him to step onto his property. Or, it's possible this is a typo and he is really asking for a restraining order of 200 yards. Either way, it's clear these two are already having problems, and it is not going to get any better if they are going to live near each other.
As we reported, the 'Grandma's Boy' star was arrested following the incident after cops arrived at the property.
Peter, who is well known for his funny roles in Adam Sandler movies, was booked for Felony criminal threats after officers spoke to everyone involved. The actor was immediately taken to jail, posted bail, and was released.
The case is now up to two judges.
Legal Problems Continue To Mount For Peter Dante
As you know, this isn't the first time Dante has been accused of something similar to this case. According to reports, the actor was thrown out of a Los Angeles hotel in 2013, after he allegedly made violent threats and used racial slurs. The actor was allegedly tossed out of the J.W. Marriott in Santa Monica after yelling at several staff members.
The incident started after the comedian demanded a new room key around 1 am and was apparently upset when the staff didn't recognize him. The hotel incident report reportedly states Dante said, "You better tell this n–ga to give me my f--cking room key before I f–k him up…he clearly doesn’t know who the f–k I am.” He continued, “N–ga do you know who I am? I’m a black belt and you’re a black person, I will f–k you up.”
The 'Waterboy' star allegedly continued his tirade against a Latino parking valet, saying, “Hey Mexican, this is Santa Monica, do you know where you are? We don’t need you.”
In the end, the comedian will face both criminal and restraining order judges after the latest incident.
