The Deadline article Sweeney referenced in her post revealed that she formed Honey Trap with her longtime creative collaborator, Kaylee McGregor. The latter reportedly serves as president of production and development at the production company.

As stated, Sweeney’s company is set with a first-look deal at Sony Pictures and is reportedly working with them on the TriStar Pictures remake of “Barbarella.” The French comic book series from Jean-Claude Forest was initially made into a 1968 cult classic film starring Jane Fonda.

Also at Sony, Sweeney is set to produce “The Registration,” which is based on Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski’s adaptation of the Madison Lawson novel. As for her current projects, the busy bee actress is shooting the Jim Mickle-directed “Gundam” in Australia for Legendary and Netflix.

Sweeney’s production company came months after she launched her lingerie brand, Syrn, in January 2026. Months later, “Euphoria” season three dropped, and she made headlines for her character’s OnlyFans narrative, which featured several nude and explicit scenes.

The Blast shared that crisis and reputation management expert Dave Quast warned that Sweeney could end up getting typecast for only sultry roles, but PR expert Lisa K. Sass shut down that theory. She argued that Sweeney had already established herself as a versatile actress.

“I really believe she’s leaning into her image deliberately. She has her own lingerie collection and is publicly comfortable in her body,” Sass explained. The PR expert added that she did not believe nudity could negatively impact an actress’s career as it did in the past.

After staying silent for weeks about her performance in “Euphoria” season 3, The Blast shared that Sweeney had broken her silence on Instagram. She shared a series of images capturing the behind-the-scenes details of her time on set with other cast members.

Many of the pictures featured some of the explicit scenes from the drama series, including Sweeney’s controversial dog outfit and topless snake moments. The actress did not look uncomfortable in the shots, posing provocatively for the cameras.

There were also shots of her having fun with her co-stars, such as her on-screen love interest, Jacob Elrodi. As for those who felt Sweeney was over-sexualized in season 3, she had the perfect response in the post’s caption, writing, “It’s called… acting.”
