Ooops! Lindsie Chrisley has moved from one drama to another!

The reality star got involved in a brief drama on the highway, leading to her arrest, and was embroiled in speculations of her getting behind the wheel under the influence.

Lindsie Chrisley’s fresh case comes amid her ongoing split from David Landsman, coupled with a side battle over their dog, Oliver, which was resolved this May.

The TLC alum is battling fresh legal trouble after getting nabbed on the highway in Georgia over the weekend on suspicion of driving under the influence. The television personality was subsequently taken into custody Saturday night and booked into jail.

She, however, bonded out of the facility very early on Sunday morning, and she later explained her side of the story to TMZ, stressing that she was pulled over while speeding past another vehicle on a two-lane road.

Lindsie added that her decision came after the driver of the car in front of her nearly struck an animal. She insisted she was trying to avoid a collision and says she plans to fight the charge.

The reality star’s arrest comes in the middle of a mutual no-contact order requiring Lindsie and David to stay 500 yards away from each other, as well as each other’s homes and workplaces, through May 2027.

A few days ago, The Blast shared that Lindsie got real and raw about the new phase of her life on an episode of “The Southern Tea” podcast.

She revealed that she is committing to a major lifestyle reset after months of personal drama, and celibacy for the next 365 days would be the gateway to that.

Lindsie explained that she decided because it is the healthiest thing she can do right now to edge her closer to personal growth and fulfilling her goals.

The reality is that she will employ good use of her calendar to keep tabs on her progress throughout the one-year-long abstinence journey.

The reality star also made it clear that she is not just avoiding physical relationships, but plans to distance herself from men entirely during the process, including engaging in conversations with them.

Lindsie affirmed that no one can talk her out of it, and publicly sharing the challenge helps keep her accountable.

Lindsie Chrisley Details Instances Of Abuse By Her Ex-Boyfriend

In court papers in their lawsuit, Lindsie accused her ex-boyfriend of committing other crimes, including sexual assault and rape. Upon their return home, Lindsie revealed that she had packed her bags and called off their relationship.

Lindsie claimed that the confrontation soon grew tense, and that was when David got “furious” and began attacking her.

As noted by The Blast, she recalled him choking her several times, and at one time, he reached for her throat with one hand and lifted her off the ground.

The former “Chrisley Knows Best” star revealed that she pleaded with him to stop, and could not get out of his way until she punched him in his eye.

Her version of the events was that she was then grabbed again by David, who threw her out of the house by the throat. 

Lindsie added that she eventually called the police, who allegedly found injuries on her neck and head. Most importantly, she stressed that the episode was not a one-off occurrence.

Lindsie, in another allegation, went to David’s home on Feb. 13, 2026, to pick up her dog, where he pinned her to the ground, put his foot on her ankles, and prevented her from leaving.

While she hopes to be married someday, the thought of enduring more emotional trauma feels exhausting.

As for the end of her relationship with David, Lindsie claimed things ended after he became angry over a photo he saw on Lindsie’s phone during dinner, wrongly assuming another man was involved.

Although he later realized the misunderstanding, tensions reportedly remained high after they returned home.
