Lindsie Chrisley has finally reacted to the domestic violence incident that occurred days earlier!
The media personality, best known as Todd Chrisley‘s oldest daughter from his first marriage, recently filed for a restraining order against David Landsman.
Lindsie Chrisley and her now ex-boyfriend made waves last week after he was arrested for allegedly attacking her. Turns out, she got a good hit in before cops dragged the offender to jail.
Lindsie Chrisley’s Relationship Drama Escalates To A Restraining Order
According to new court documents, Lindsie filed for a restraining order to stop her ex from having any access to her or her environs. She begged the court to order David to stay at least 500 yards away from her and to stop all forms of harassment and intimidation.
Lindsie detailed a scary story in the filing, explaining that she broke up with David on April 10, following his arrest on aggravated assault and strangulation. She noted they were together for two years and stayed at each other’s homes before David turned abusive.
The incident that led to his arrest began the night prior, with Lindsie recalling that they had been at dinner when David noticed a picture on her phone. Lindsie, per the documents obtained by TMZ, claimed David had believed there was another man in the photo and became verbally aggressive.

Lindsie claimed David did not calm down until she made him realize that the man in the picture was none other than him. She noted he apologized for his outburst but remained on edge for the rest of the evening.
The then-couple eventually returned to David’s home, where Lindsie promptly packed her bags and told David she was done with their relationship. She didn’t leave without confronting him “about the lies he was telling in reference to the personal matters he is going through.”
The questions, per Lindsie, made David more “agitated and aggravated” until he finally snapped and strangled her multiple times. She alleged that at one point, he lifted her off the ground with one hand while strangling her, leaving her feet dangling in the air.

Lindsie stressed that she kept begging David to stop as he choked her, claiming he continued until she managed to punch him near the eyebrows. The hit secured her brief freedom before David allegedly grabbed Lindsie by the throat again and threw her out of the house.
Following the incident, Lindsie claimed she called the cops, who noticed injuries on her neck and head. She added that the incident wasn’t isolated, noting David once held her down on the ground to stop her from leaving.
The alleged incident occurred on February 13, 2026, with Lindsie claiming she went over to David’s house to retrieve her dog. She claimed he held her down on the ground, pinned her wrists together, and placed his foot on her ankles.
David Landsman Posed For A Bloodied Mugshot
Lindsie added that she feared for her safety and that of her son, whom she welcomed from her previous marriage. The court is yet to rule on her restraining order request, which follows her ex’s bloodied mugshot.
The Blast covered the story, reporting that David was booked on one count of aggravated assault-strangulation and got his mugshot taken at the Cherokee County jail. The picture captured the aftermath of Lindsie’s punch, revealing a bloody streak on David’s face.
The blood ran down one side of his face, starting from his eyebrow to his cheek. At the time, sources claimed David “went berserk” on Lindsie after she tried to leave following a confrontation about his lies.
Lindsie Chrisley Has A Rocky Relationship With Her Family
After such a scary encounter, most people would turn to their family for comfort; however, Lindsie did not have such a luxury. She has been estranged from her father and her half-siblings for years, with tensions escalating in 2023.
The Blast shared in September 2023 that the drama began after Lindsie’s half-sister, Savannah Chrisley, accused her of working with the government to throw their father in jail. In 2022, Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion charges.
Lindsie denied the allegations through her attorney, Musa Ghanayem, who argued that Savannah needed a scapegoat and didn’t rely on facts. Ghanayem claimed Lindsie had testified on Todd and Julie’s behalf and never worked with the government as Savannah alleged.
