The content creator stepped up on her X account on Thursday, May 21, with great words about Pratt’s candidacy as he prepares to head to the polls, having gained support with the Republicans and Independents alike. 

The Turning Point leader commended Pratt’s approach, saying that regardless of the election’s outcome, “what he’s doing is authentically American.” She emphasized that his unconventional campaign style is exactly what makes him stand out from the rest.

She stressed that instead of sounding like a broken record and a career politician, he has chosen to see things from the perspective of the average American who understands the connection between leadership and the population.

Erika, in her statement, urged more citizens to get involved in politics, while commending everyone who found their voice against the failing system in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old summed up the post by writing, “I hope moments like this inspire more Americans to throw their names into the mix, run for office, get involved, and stand up for what makes this country exceptional.”

Erika’s latest social media epistle became a conversation opener for X subscribers who questioned her reason for choosing to stick with Pratt over Thomas Massie, whom her late husband liked.

“Guys, if Erika Kirk is endorsing this Spencer Pratt? He’s deep state, and he’s got an evil agenda. Do not vote for him. If Erika supports him, go the other way. These people are Israel first. They hate America,” this X user declared.

Another subscriber warned that Erika supporting any candidate is synonymous with career suicide, and if anything, people must be suspicious of Pratt’s intentions from now on.

However, some social media users agreed with Erika’s point, commending Pratt for fundamentally changing the approach to campaigns and showing how to connect with voters truly.

On May 20, The Blast reported that Pratt’s campaign received praise from the President for the growing momentum in his campaign.

Trump was asked while departing the Joint Base Andrews for Connecticut to speak about some of the similarities between himself and Pratt in the journey towards holding political office.

Trump revealed that he wishes the reality star well and believed he threw his weight behind him politically. “I’d like to see him do well. He’s a character. I heard he does. I heard he’s a big MAGA person,” the politician continued.

The President’s comment adds a controversial touch to the already popular campaign being run by Pratt, which was ignited by the Pacific Palisades wildfire that ravaged the state early last year.

However, the MTV alum tried to curb the heavy MAGA speculations that surrounded Trump’s speech by insisting that voters should focus on issues concerning the city rather than national political division.

Pratt stated that the only support he required was from people passionate about a safe Los Angeles. He also hoped to onboard conservative and independent voters without becoming too closely linked with broader Republican politics.

Pratt continued that the decision went beyond simply owning guns, claiming they also needed concealed carry permits. The reality star added that since the Republicans were the primary supporters of concealed carry rights, it became easier for him to make a choice. He also emphasized that he had aced all the necessary training and followed all legal procedures required to own and handle firearms responsibly.

Pratt reminded the interview that if he is elected mayor, he will bolster school safety by placing LAPD officers in front of every school. He revealed that he has already begun laying the blueprint for initiatives aimed at protecting children from the ongoing nemesis of gun violence.

Since the unfortunate death of her husband, Erika and Owens’ relationship has experienced a gradual decline, with what turned into a show of support, observations laced with allegations that there is more at play. 

Owens had challenged Erika and the Turning Point USA squad for experimenting with AI-generated voice technology and also exhibiting traces of being a possible psychopath.

The commentator slammed Erika for channeling all her energy towards solidifying her leadership position on the platform rather than mourning the loss of her husband.

Owens also spun another possible narrative of Erika being possibly involved in Charlie’s demise, insisting that she is a dangerous personality who may lack human emotion.

Charlie died from a gunshot wound on September 10, 2025, during a speaking event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
