The Media Personality Made Scathing Claims Of Abuse Against Her Ex-Boyfriend
In April, The Blast noted that Lindsie sought a restraining order from the court, requesting it to bar her former boyfriend from communicating with her or approaching her. She reportedly asked him to keep a minimum of 500 yards from her and to cease any harassment or intimidation.
Lindsie explained in the filing that he was arrested on April 10 on aggravated assault and strangulation charges, and that was when she ended the relationship. She said they had been dating for two years and spent much time at his home prior to the sudden change in his behavior towards her.
The TV star recalled the pair stepping out for dinner, during which David had seen a picture on her phone and thought it belonged to another man. She continued that he started getting verbally aggressive, but eventually noticed the person in the photo was him.
Although he eventually apologized, Lindsie revealed that his mood remained tense all night, prompting her to break up with him and move her things out of his home.
In the filing, Lindsie noted that he became more and more agitated until he allegedly strangled her several times after she confronted him about some lies in the relationship. She said that during the altercation, he lifted her by her neck with one hand and left her hanging by her feet in the air.

After the incident, Lindsie said that she called police officers who allegedly saw visible injuries to her neck and head. She also said that the fight was not the first, as he had previously held her down during another altercation.
That incident is said to have occurred on February 13, 2026, when Lindsie went to his home to get her dog. She said he pinned her to the ground, bound her hands, and put his foot on her ankles to prevent her from getting away.
He was later booked into the Cherokee County jail with his mugshot taken on one charge of aggravated assault by strangulation following the April incident. The photo of David’s booking showed what seemed to be a bloody scar on his face, which he had gotten from his altercation with his ex.
