Lindsie Chrisley Opens Up About Current Co-Parenting Situation With Ex Will Campbell

Lindsie Chrisley is getting candid about how co-parenting works with her ex-husband.

Chrisley was married to her ex-husband, Will Campbell, for nine years, and they have been separated for about two years. However, they seem to have a civil co-parenting relationship.

The "Chrisley Knows Best" star recently shed light on how they handle co-parenting, revealing that while they do not celebrate holidays as a family, they always prioritize their son Jackson and ensure to maintain boundaries in their relationship.

During one of Chrisley's latest Instagram Q&A sessions, a curious follower wanted to know if her son wished to do things with just her and his father or if they all occasionally spent time together. 

In response, she shared, "Not anymore. We kind of touched on this last week on "Coffee Convos Podcast" and the most healthy co-parenting households."     The 33-year-old clarified that they do not celebrate holidays jointly but "do separate one-on-one birthday celebrations." 

She further mentioned, "If there's a holiday that one of us has him, like Valentine's Day, for example – I will drop breakfast off and a gift basket." Giving more insight, Chrisley disclosed that she is allowed into her ex-husband's home, and he is allowed in hers, but with "respect and boundaries and not overuse" despite being divorced.  

The parents also make appearances together at their son's school and several events where they keep things amicable. In her words: 

"We attend sporting events for Jackson, school socials, open house, etc., together. For sports, we are cordial and try to sit within the same areas so that Jackson only has to look one place.?."

The reality star's statement was penned against a photo of her and her baby boy embracing. Jackson's face was obscured as he kissed his mom on the cheek while she was all smiles for the camera.

Chrisley's revelation about her co-parenting situation may prompt fans to recall when she opened up earlier this year about the possibility of her and Campbell getting back together. At the time, she posted a video on her Instagram Story addressing a question she had been constantly asked for a while.

The question was: "Do you think it could be God's plan to bring you and Will back together?" The mother-of-one, dressed casually in a black hoodie, a gray undershirt, and a red cap, replied that while she understood people's curiosity about the subject, she had no concrete answer as she did not know God's plans for the future.

She further said, "All I can do is pray for God's will to be done, whatever that is, if that is for us to be happily in relationships with other people. Then that's what I hope for. Whatever God's will is for that to be done."Chrisley added that she and her ex were in a much better place and had both dated several people since their divorce.

 She then buttressed that they had gone through significant growth following their split and were in different places in their lives compared to when they were together.  

As fans know, news of the estranged couple's separation circulated when they both announced on their personal social media pages. In Chrisley's update, she began with, "While one door closes, another opens," before telling her followers about her and Campbell's separation.

Her message read, "It's with the deepest sadness that, after nine years of marriage, Will & I have mutually decided to end our marriage. We maintain the greatest respect & love for one another, & we're so grateful for our time together.⁣" 

Earlier in July, Chrisley showed she had moved on from her former partner as she unveiled her new boo on Instagram, causing her numerous fans to have a field day.

She went on a vacation with her boyfriend, Trent, to Playa del Carmen in Mexico and shared the loveliest snaps, including two slides displaying Trent's face for the first time. He was captured shirtless and rocked dark shades while grinning beside her as they reclined on a couch. 

The South Carolina native was all about her "amazing experience" with her beau in the caption, as she confessed that it was everything she wished for.

She also appreciated her doting boyfriend for being "considerate" and loving her openly without failing to remind her of his affection daily.
