Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Are Getting Married This Weekend: See The Details!

'The Voice' hosts Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are getting married this weekend at the country singer's Oklahoma ranch, and the couple has already filed for a marriage license.

According to multiple reports, the couple filed for a marriage license on Tuesday in Oklahoma, where the singer has his property. Legally, the couple has 10-days to tie the knot from the day they file for the document, per the state's law. Apparently, the big day is going down this weekend, during the Fourth of July holiday! 

The famous couple reportedly flew Stefani's children out to the ranch on Friday, after he finished filming the popular singing competition show, and will be sending a private jet to pick up the rest of Stefani's immediate family. It's unclear if the event will just be family and close friends, or if a host of celebrities are expected to make the journey.

Interestingly, back in December, it was reported that Shelton built a chapel on the grounds of his ranch with the purpose of using it for the couple's wedding ceremony. As we reported, Blake popped the big question back in October after almost five years of dating.

As for why it took so long to have the wedding, it was reported the famous couple wanted to wait until it was safe for others to travel to the event. "She was upset earlier this year when it seemed to be no end in sight for the pandemic," the source continued. "She slowly started planning the wedding this spring though," a source told People. 

Adding, They are both ecstatic that it can finally happen. They are getting married this summer. Gwen's boys will be very involved. Blake is a great extra dad and very close with the boys."

As you know, Stefani was coming off a split from her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale and Shelton was newly split with his ex-wife Miranda Lambert. At the time, it was reported she wasn't looking to start a relationship but said it was "unbelievable that God would put us in a position to have each other at that moment, in the same exact moment."

Luckily, during the pandemic, the couple spend time together at the Tishomingo, Oklahoma rance and revealed the big news to their fans on Instagram. They shared a photo of themselves kissing, and showing off her new huge sparkler! "Yes, Please!" Stefani wrote. "Hey (Gwen Stefani) thanks for saving my 2020...And the rest of my life," Shelton added. "I love you. I heard a YES!" he concluded.

This will be Stefani's second marriage and Shelton's third trip down the aisle.
