Blake Shelton‘s engagement to country singer, Gwen Stefani still excites and amazes fans till date. The duo have been a couple for so long, that fans were not expecting the sudden change in status. 

However, it did happen and the couple was showered with love and support by their wonderful fan base, after the news was revealed on Instagram. 

Now that the couple are engaged, Shelton wants his wife-to-be to walk down the aisle as soon as possible. Preferably, before the next season of “The Voice” begins.

Both Shelton and Stefani have been married to other people in the past, however, there was something quite different and incredible about their union. 

The couple, who are parents to beautiful kids from their ex-spouses, gave fans a whole different meaning of love. Both had hurtful experiences with love in the past, but found a way to be there for one another every step of the way. 

They first met each other as co-judges on “The Voice” talent show. In 2015, a few months after Shelton finalized his divorce from Miranda Lambert, the couple disclosed their romance.

Sometimes, when partners work in a similar environment, there might be a conflict of interest, especially when both parties have differing opinions on a subject. 

While this has most likely happened between Stefani and Shelton on “The Voice,” the couple were always loving and incredible with one another.

They not only showed exemplary skills as judges, they also found a way to make working together lively and interesting. For this reason, fans were heartbroken when the producers of the show announced that Stefani would be replaced with singer, Nick Jonas for season 19.

According to Us Weekly, during an appearance on “Today,” Stefani praised her fiancé, calling him a ‘miracle’ romance.

The “Hair Up” singer described Shelton as a generous person, who’s more than her husband. 

“He really just is my best friend. I feel so excited that I have someone in my life that I now have a chance at happiness,” the 51-year-old said. 

Stefani explained that she has been through a lot with Shelton and every time, she knew he was someone to count on. The singer is simply elated to be his wife soon. 

For Shelton, the wedding has to take place very soon, at least before he has to go about his judge duties on “The Voice.”

The “God’s Country” singer explained on “Today With Hoda & Jenna” that he wants to be able to spend time with his wife before and after the show ends. 

He’s also very worried about the COVID-19 restrictions and waiting just seems likely to make things worse for the couple. 

The wedding will no doubt be attended by amazing celebrities, including Adam Levine, whom Shelton personally requested to perform at the ceremony.
