The pop star also dished in the photo's caption, "Rome is okay I guess, if you like opera and carbonara and seeing things older than your brain can comprehend. Or if you like gelato and cobblestone alleyways that lead to little shops filled with cheeses and salami! But if you don’t like those things skip Rome and save it for me please cause I am quite a big fan of all of the above mentioned things."
The "Bad Thing Twice" singer is not only known for updating her fans on the celebratory and jet-setting details of her life. The Blast took a look at Jepsen's inspiration for "The Loveliest Time" upon its release.
Jepsen revealed the 2022 release was "A lifelong inquiry that I've had about my relationship to loneliness," in an interview with The Cut.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the "Joshua Tree" singer said regarding the record's inspiration, "It's a bit more about ownership of [yourself]..."
Jepsen continued, "I've discovered it. I know what's good, what's bad, what's ugly, and everything. You're taking those lessons, learning from them but going back into the wide world and being ready to face it."
The newly-engaged singer also incorporated some easter eggs into her Instagram posts for the LP's rollout in July 2023!
