Carly Rae Jepsen has announced a new album, "The Loveliest Time," only months after the release of "The Loneliest Time."

Jepsen, 37, typically releases 'B-side' companion albums to her latest releases, but the "Shy Boy" singer is doing something a bit different this time around!

Jepsen released the album "The Loneliest Time" last October. The album's lead single of the same name, featuring Rufus Wainright, went on to have viral success on TikTok. Fans might recall the section of the song where she sings, "What happened was/we reached the moon/but lost in space I think we got there all too soon/But you know what?/I'm coming back for you, baby!' refrain.

The "Run Away With Me" singer isn't quite ready to 'run away' from her 'Loneliest Time' era yet. She announced the release of a "complete set" to the record's music on Instagram on Thursday morning.

The Blast has covered several aspects of Jepsen's incredibly busy year! We took a look at her recent performance at England's Glastonbury Festival, where she debuted her newest single "Shy Boy" for the first time!

Jepsen discussed the poignant journey to performing "Shy Boy" for the first time in the reel's caption. She would write, "...Feeling rather rocked by the time change, I landed on stage shocked to see some 85,000 people there to greet us! I was delighted to be invited and would do it all again in a heartbeat! What a happy release day. Thank you for making it so special. ???"

In the two weeks since the single's release, the "Cut To The Feeling" singer would celebrate the new single a number of times on her feed.

Jepsen would delve into her Glastonbury performance in an Instagram carousel posted the next day.

She wrote, "Debuting 'Shy Boy' yesterday was FUN. My face says it all. And Mario's body language sends the message home," she joked. "I kept having dreams about this performance leading up to the big day. I told my band about it at rehearsal w no irony meant before we launched into 'The Loneliest Time'- a song with lyrics that begin, 'I've had one of those bad dreams,' Jepsen continued. "Oh no, I looked around and we all laughed. Next on the set list was 'Cut To The Feeling' [with the lyrics], 'I had a dream or was it real...? I crossed the line and it was ON!' ? I just learned that maybe I keep having dreams and writing songs about it. Hehe.."

Jepsen Announces 'The Loveliest Time,' Reveals It Will Be Released Rather Soon!

Writing enough songs to warrant entire albums featuring 'B-sides' is one of Jepsen's many talents!

Although (like we mentioned earlier) "The Loveliest Time" isn't an official 'B-sides' release, the "All That" singer had written enough material to exceed the standard number of songs typically found on a record!

In the caption of a photo featuring Jepsen sitting on a window sill and gazing out a window, she shared more details about her latest project.

"It's been the loneliest time, it's been the loveliest time. After a season of hibernation comes the season of blossoming ?. I got to know loneliness and discover the beauty in it. The loneliest time taught me that growth comes from being planted in darkness," Jepsen continued. "But now the world has opened itself back up again and in turn so have we. It's time for celebration and for all the lessons we've learned to burst into joyful action. The Loveliest Time..." she explained.

"At this point you know me so well I won't even tease about a b-sides. It's almost disrespectful because you know that it's coming," Jepsen shared. "And in fact this is the time to announce that it's here. It's done and a month from now 'The Loveliest Time' will be all yours. I can't really call it a b-sides as if these were cast off ideas- it's the completed set to a body of work that taught me so much about love and loneliness and myself..."

At this time it isn't known whether "Shy Boy" will be part of "The Loveliest Time" tracklist. One thing it'll be easy to know for sure: Carly Rae Jepsen's fans won't have a lonely time waiting for its release!
