WNBA Star Sabrina Ionescu Tied The Knot With Fiancé Hroniss Grasu!

After a year long engagement, Sabrina Ionescu and Hroniss Grasu are now married!

The New York Liberty star and the offensive lineman for the Las Vegas Raiders officially tied the knot over the weekend in Laguna Beach, California.

While the bride and groom haven't shared any photos or videos from their big day on social media just yet, some of their guests have.

WNBA star Satou Sabally shared a carousel of photos from the big event captioned, "To an everlasting bond of love what an amazing wedding of two very special people, a weekend full of two very special people, a weekend full of smiles and happy tears."

In the carousel of photos was also a video that shows the happy couple clapping and dancing on the dance floor while their guests gathered around waving napkins in the air.

Ionescu's good friend Vanessa Bryant also shared some photos from the wedding. One photo is of her and her daughter Natalia with the bride captioned, "Congratulations to @sabrina_i and @h_grasu !!! Such a beautiful couple. Wishing you both the very best, always!!! Xo."

Bryant also shared a few other snaps from the exciting event, including an Instagram Story of her and Ionescu in a photo booth smiling.

The Instagram Story confirms that Ionescu and Grasu said their vows on Sunday, March 10.

A carousel of photos shared by Ionescu on Instagram shows the romantic way Grasu asked the WNBA star to be his forever. "It’s always us. Here’s to forever with you 1.20.23 #finally."

Ionescu shared more of her engagement story in a TikTok video captioned, "How I got engaged and had nooooo idea."

"So this is my engagement story, but before I was making a TikTok for the GQ photo shoot that I thought I was going to, so we headed into the city and I was literally taking a video to do behind the scenes of my photo shoot," she said. "And here I am getting hair, makeup, my last picture, making sure the producers liked what I was wearing, and to come out and realize that there were no producers. It was my boyfriend who had planned this entire engagement with my agents and had everyone on board."

In the video, she showed the "amazing arrangement of flowers and candles" Grasu had set up so he could pop the question in a memorable way. Ionescu said she was "completely shocked and caught off guard."

During the recent NBA All-Star Weekend, Ionescu was challenged by Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry in the ultimate 3-point contest. The epic showdown took place during the All-Star Night Skills Challenge.

Ahead of the competition, it was quite divided by fans as to who would take the title of best 3-point shooter. With Curry holding the NBA record for most career 3-pointers made with 3,642, and Ionescu with the WNBA record for most 3-point shots in a single season with 128, fans were torn as to who would win it all.

Ultimately, while it was pretty close, Curry took the title of best 3-point shooter. Ionescu tallied a score of 26, making her first seven shots and going 8-for-9 on money balls. Curry had two perfect racks going 5-for-5 from both the left and right wing and finished the contest with 29 points.

Ionescu's new Sabrina 1 sneakers in Oregon Ducks colorway were recently released.  The description of the shoes on Nike's website shares the story of the colorway choice.
