While his twins, Harper and Gideon, 13, look thrilled about their dad's new venture on the popular social media app, his fans are definitely happy he's there.

"Okay, okay. Are you guys so excited?" Harris, 50, asked his teens in his first ever TikTok video. "I'm joining the TikTak."

His son corrected him saying "TikTok" while looking frustrated.

Harris continued, "This is my first TikTok. I'm gonna have so many followers. I'm gonna ramp up my rizz." Gideon jumped in to plea, "Never, ever say that again" before Harper added, "You're not cool. You're not special."

Harris then said he's gonna be a "snack" and said, "TikTok is going to be legend" just before he stands up and starts to dance while his kids scream "no" from off camera.

The "How I Met Your Mother" star was immediately a hit on the app! In just a few hours, his video has had more than 10 million views and 22,000 comments.

"NPH is in his cringy dad era and I’m here for it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚," one follower wrote in the comment section. "My favorite is when celebrities, no matter how legendary, are still just dad to their kids," wrote another.

Another follower pointed out, "This was the best example of a dad doing their duty to embarrass. Well done. This deserves the highest of fives βœ‹πŸ»."

And another hilariously asked, "Do they even realise their Dad is NEIL PATRICK HARRIS?"

Harris and his husband, David Burtka, 48, are enjoying being parents to two teens. Before setting sail on a Disney Wish cruise, the couple opened up about what life is like with their teens.

"They've been great. They're surprisingly great," Harris told PEOPLE.

"They're city kids, they live in Manhattan, New York, so I find them fairly mature 13-year-olds, but it's nice to see them navigate the world now that they're teenagers with some sense of knowledge and self. That's what we work really hard as parents to do is instill some sort of values into them, and then you sort of let them go and exist and they're crushing it. Very proud of them."

The twins just recently hit those fun teen years, and Burtka explained that their home hasn't become the place everyone always hangs out at just yet.

"Honestly, they're at such a rigorous school. Literally they come home and do homework. It's wild," Burtka said. "Not a hangout house yet. I mean there are play dates and sleepovers and things like that, but maybe soon."

And while their house isn't the "hangout house" just yet, the couple revel in the fact that they are the cool parents in their kids' friends group.

"We're definitely told we're the coolest parents out of all the friend groups," Burtka said. Harris jumped in to add, "I didn't realize it was a competition."

"Oh, it's a full competition," Burtka continued. "Wow. Okay. Well, I'm glad we know we've ranked," Harris added.
