Justin Timberlake Reportedly 'Miserable' And Considering Legal Action Against Britney Spears

Despite stepping out at the premiere of the new “Trolls” movie, Justin Timberlake is reportedly “miserable” following the backlash that he has received after pop star Britney Spears released her tell-all memoir “The Woman In Me” on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
In her tell-all book, the now 41-year-old “Toxic” singer reflected on allegations of infidelity and even an unplanned pregnancy, which she terminated after she alleged that Justin didn’t feel ready to be a father when the former couple dated from 1999 to 2002.
Although the “Cry Me A River” singer disabled comments on his Instagram page to try to evade the backlash, fans took to the Instagram page of his wife, actress Jessica Biel, with questions about his infidelity. Although the two took a family trip to Cabo with their two children to escape the noise, it seems that "The Social Network" actor is reportedly "miserable" with the news about his former relationship that has since been made public.

Although Justin Timberlake is frustrated with the bombshell revelations that came from Britney’s memoir, fans did not expect the 42-year-old singer to pursue legal action. However, sources revealed on Friday, November 17, that the “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” singer is considering legal action against the “Gimme More” singer.
Although a source claimed that the former *NSYNC boy bander initially planned to “ride” out the storm and wait for the backlash to subside, he is now “miserable” with how his past has been presented in her tell-all book. "His original plan was to ride this out," an insider told the National Enquirer. "But it's consuming his entire life and making his family miserable."
"There's all this hate being hurled at him and Jessica and various high-profile types are unfollowing him, including Madonna — and to cap it off, Britney is threatening to come after him again in a second book," the source continued, referring to how Madonna unfollowed JT on Instagram.
Justin Is Reportedly ‘Fully Prepared To Take Britney To Court’
"He's furious and looking at legal options," the insider added. "He's fully prepared to take Britney to court and make her pay.” That being said, it seems that Britney is not afraid to enter a legal battle with her ex-boyfriend.
"When it comes to Justin, Britney's attitude is very much, 'Bring it on, I'll bury you,'" one insider claimed. "But Justin has money and high-powered lawyers. He won't put up with this for long.”
Of course, Britney also has her own legal team, including her lawyer Mathew Rosengart. However, despite claims from these sources, it is unlikely that Justin will actually pursue legal action against the pop star if the allegations that Britney made in her memoir are, in fact, true.
Britney Spears Claims She Never Meant To Offend Anyone With 'The Woman In Me'
In a brief statement posted to her Instagram page a few days before her book was released, the "Girl In The Mirror" singer insisted that she never meant to "offend anyone" and was looking forward to a "beautiful clean slate" following the release of her memoir, which touched on everything from her relationship with her estranged family to her controversial 13-year conservatorship.
“My book’s purpose was not to offend anyone by any means !!! That was me then …that is in the past !!!” she began. “I don’t like the headlines I am reading …that’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago !!! Most of the book is from 20 years ago … I have moved on and it’s a beautiful clean slate from here !!!”
“I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life !!!” she continued. “Either way, that is the last of it and s— happens !! This is actually a book didn’t know needed to be written … although some might be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future !!!”
“Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel particularly alone in most cases or hurt or misunderstood !!! Again, my motive for this book was not to harp on my past experiences which is what the press is doing and it’s dumb and silly !!!” she concluded. “I have moved on since then !! #TheWomaninMe.”
