'1000-LB Sisters' Tammy Slaton Allegedly Battling Pneumonia Amid Extreme Weight Loss

Tammy Slaton seems to be facing health troubles amid her drastic weight loss transformation and her new slimmer look.

The "1000-LB Sisters" star has made impressive progress, dropping from a size 8xl to a 2xl, but a source claims she was recently seen struggling to catch her breath.

Slaton was photographed struggling outside her Kentucky home while flaunting a trimmed look. Dressed in a casual look of black pants and a matching T-shirt underneath a striped sweater, Tammy was seen exiting from a vehicle looking somewhat frail.

In photos obtained by The Sun US, The TLC star leaned on the car door to catch her breath for a while before bending awkwardly as though feeling pain in her leg. Eyewitnesses at the scene claimed Tammy put her hand to her chest as if she was experiencing some discomfort and appeared to walk more labored than usual as she walked into her front door.

Days after the sighting, an insider close to the reality star revealed that she had been down with pneumonia. Hence the reason for her labored breathing and shaky appearance. Mayo Clinic describes pneumonia as an infection that inflames the air sacs in one or both lungs. Its seriousness can range from mild to life-threatening.

Despite the reports of shaky health, Tammy seemed in good spirits when she flaunted her slim figure while showing off her Halloween look. In a video shared on Instagram, the 37-year-old first dressed as a skeleton, giving a playful 360-degree spin so that her fans could get the best look of her outfit.

Her home was decorated with balloons, and her dog playfully pranced around her. For her second look, Tammy wore a floor-length black dress with gold shimmer on the chest area, reminiscent of the Egyptian queen Cleopatra.

The widowed reality star seemed in great spirits and couldn't stop smiling for the camera as she did another spin, showing off her jaw-dropping weight loss. Fans expressed their awe about Tammy's look by bombarding the comments section with positive remarks.

"You look so good tammy! we are so proud of you, happy halloween love! ??," one fan gushed in the comments, while another expressed, "wow, what a transformation... you are an inspiration to us all, happy Halloween."

An impressed follower wrote, "I bet it feels so good to look so good in a Halloween costume and to be able to do a 360!!! Woohoo Tammy!" This fan declared, "I've never been so proud of a stranger who doesn't even know that I exist than I am right now ....so proud and happy for you Tammy."

Dr. Eric Smith, the surgeon on "1000-LB Sisters" joined the praises, writing, "Happy Halloween! How much fun are you having getting to pick out costumes now? Love seeing this."

Tammy's sister Amy Slaton also joined in the Halloween fun, making jaws drop with her extreme weight loss in a stunning mermaid costume. The mother-of-two donned a sequined dress with purple and green hues and a single strap. Fans were treated to a view of one of the TLC star’s flawless shoulders.

She posted a close-up selfie that showcased her slimmer face which was amply covered with purple eyeshadow and false long lashes.

Reports about Tammy's health come weeks after court documents revealed that the reality star was busted for drug possession shortly after her husband, Caleb Willingham, passed away.

As we reported, In August, she was arrested for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Kentucky after the police responded to a complaint. It happened that a Sturgis police officer responded to a complaint about the incident and Tammy was caught.

Three days later, she was charged with one count of possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.  According to Radar Online, the arrest happened while Tammy was driving. The arresting officer said that he could "smell marijuana coming from the vehicle" and Tammy "admitted to having marijuana in her purse."

"In her purse was a glass jar containing approximately an ounce or more of marijuana," the publication claimed the police report read.

According to criminal records, Tammy is due back in court for some sort of diversion plan on April 24, 2024.
