Pop star Britney Spears shared a lot of information about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, in her new memoir, “The Woman In Me.”
One former production source told Page Six that “Britney was pulling double duty as a musical guest and host [on ‘SNL’]. Justin had found a letter which made it clear that the affair had been going on for months and that she and Wade had been sleeping together,” adding, “He had been trying to get ahold of Wade and finally got him on the phone as Britney was in the middle of ‘SNL.’ If you watch closely, you will see that he did not join Britney on stage at the end of the show when she thanked him.”
After the show ended, the source divulged that the former couple spent approximately forty minutes in their dressing room before attending an after-party they were hosting at Serafina. Their three-year relationship came to an end only a month later, adding fuel to the allegations that the pop star had cheated. However, in her memoir, Britney insisted that she and Wade only kissed, writing, “We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night.”
‘Everytime’ Cowriter Claims Britney Wrote Wade Robson A 14-Page Letter To End The Relationship

Last Friday, “Everytime” cowriter Annet Artani told TMZ that Britney’s affair with Wade Robson was more than a kiss at a Spanish bar one night. “She had written [Wade] a letter and left it in her makeup bag,” Artani, 47, told the outlet. “A long, long letter. Like, 14 pages, and [was] basically trying to end it.”
“I don’t think it was [just] making out at a bar one night. I remember specifically hearing her say it was with Wade and it went on for quite a while,” she continued. “My understanding, if you’re writing someone a 14-page letter, I would think it’s more than just, ‘We kissed one time.’”
She also stated that Justin had found the breakup letter on his own, prompting the “Mirrors” crooner to question the “Overprotected” singer about her possible infidelity. “He probably wanted to end it because he’s this young, handsome pop star who didn’t want to be tied down,” Artani speculated. “Here was an opportunity.”
Justin Timberlake Addresses Being ‘Scorned’ In His 2018 Memoir

In his 2018 memoir, “Hindsight & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me,” the 42-year-old singer claimed that he wrote his hit song “Cry Me A River” in only two hours because he was feeling “scored.”
“I’ve been scorned. I’ve been p—ed off. I wrote ‘Cry Me a River’ in two hours. I didn’t plan on writing it,” he wrote in his memoir. “The feelings I had were so strong that I had to write it, and I translated my feelings into a form where people could listen and, hopefully, relate to it. People heard me and they understood it because we’ve all been there.”

Despite dominating headlines for the past two weeks, a source told Us Weekly that Justin Timberlake is “trying to distance himself” from the allegations.
“It’s not something he’s focusing too much on in terms of anything she might discuss when it comes to their former relationship,” an insider told the outlet earlier this month. “Justin and Britney dated so long ago, and he has a whole different life now. He’s focused on his family, his career, and moving forward, and he would like to leave anything that happened in the past behind them.”
Britney Spears’ memoir “The Woman In Me” was officially released on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
