Lynne Spears Gives Daughter Jamie Lynn Spears A Leg Massage Following ‘DWTS’ Performance

Actress Jamie Lynn Spears got a free leg massage from her mother, Lynne Spears, who flew all the way from Lousiana to Los Angeles to watch her daughter perform on the season premiere of "Dancing With The Stars."

While Britney Spears was making headlines for dancing with knives on Instagram, the "Zoey 101" star was on television screens doing the tango with her professional dance partner, Alan Bersten.

On Wednesday afternoon, only one day after the “Dancing With The Stars” season premiere, the “Sweet Magnolias” actress took to Instagram to share a carousel full of photos from the night. Fans flipping through the photos got a glimpse of Jamie Lynn snapping a selfie of her legs, showing off her pedicure as she lay back on the bed.

Her mother is sitting cross-legged at the end of the bed, giving her daughter a calf massage with both hands as she leans over her. There is a bottle of lotion sitting on the bed beside the pair as she works to relieve Jamie Lynn’s sore muscles before her next dance performance.

“Big THANKS to all those who work so incredibly hard to put on such massively hard production like this, yet still manage to make it so wonderful, even when you’re so nervous ya need to vomit,” she wrote in the caption of this Instagram post.

“Huge THANK YOU to all my friends, family, and fans for the unbelievable support and VOTES for us last night! I’m honored to have this incredible experience, and be able to use it as an opportunity to give back to my #SAG community who cannot work as we continue to fight the good fight,” she continued. “Love y’all. thank y’all.”

Although Jamie Lynn did not post any videos of her performance, her dance partner Alan shared their dance on his Instagram page. Although the judges only gave them a combined score of 15/30, fans were still raving about her tango!

On Wednesday afternoon, Alan also took to Instagram to share a video of their performance from the night. Although there was room for improvement in her performance, Alan had nothing but praise for his celebrity dance partner.

“I am so proud of you @jamielynnspears. You gave it everything you had last night! And you did the d--- thing!!!! I can’t wait to get back into rehearsals for our next dance!!! Thank you to everyone who voted for us!! Keep it up!” he wrote in the caption.

“She did amazing and nerves probably played a big part in it,” one fan commented. “She did awesome! She just needs that breakthrough where she realizes how good she is & gets more comfortable!” another follower agreed. “So happy for y’all! Only one day before the full celebrity lineup was revealed, the "Sweet Magnolias" actress took to Instagram to announce that she planned on donating her salary due to the strikes, which are now fortunately coming to an end.

"Decided to lace up my dancing shoes for a good reason," she wrote in the caption. "I was offered an opportunity that is completely out of the ordinary of something I would normally ever do, but it’s during a time where my community #SAG & #WGA are on strike & all of us members are unable to work until we have reached a fair resolution, so if I’m able to use this unique opportunity to bring more awareness and to donate the salary I get for dancing each week back to the community who has given me so much, then it’s the least I can do."

"I could not ask for a better partner than @alanbersten to guide me through this adventure," she continued. "I’m not gonna lie, I’m scared, but I’m just gonna have fun and hopefully be able to give back in a meaningful way until we can ALL GET BACK TO OUR DAY JOBS."
