Britney Spears Dances In BANDAGES Following Viral Knife Dancing Video

Pop star Britney Spears is sporting some new injuries and a large white bandage following her viral knife dancing video.

On Monday night, the 41-year-old Princess of Pop took to Instagram to share a video of her dancing with knives, although she assured her followers in the caption that they were fake.

Fans were suspicious of the claim and Britney might have proved them right on Tuesday night, when she posted another dancing video that featured her moving around with a white bandage on her arm, a bruise on her back, and a cut on her leg.

On Monday night, the "Hold Me Closer" singer took to Instagram to share a video that featured her dancing in a short-sleeve crop top and white bottoms. She is barefoot as she twirls around and around in her living room, wielding two large knives in each hand.

Her small dogs, including her new dog, Snow, are wandering around the living room behind her. It looks like she has set towels down for them.

In the caption, Britney wrote, “I started playing in the kitchen with knives today 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ !!! Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is soon 🙈🙈🙈 !!!”

On Tuesday night, the “Oops!... I Did It Again” singer posted two more dancing videos in the same outfit as the one that she wore yesterday. In the first video, she looks the same as she did before as she spins around and around in circles.

In the second video, Britney is sporting a white bandage on her arm, a cut on her leg, and a bruise on her right hip, close to her lower back.

In the caption of this Instagram post, Britney wrote, “My ‘Pretty Woman’ top … kinda cool after my briefing on polka dots 😉😉🙄🙄🙈🙈🤓🤓 !!!! Swipe to see both !!!”

Comments on both Instagram posts were disabled, but “Britney” was trending all day on X, formerly known as Twitter as fans weighed in. Even Chief Twit Elon Musk weighed in on the debate!

Shortly after the video was posted, a Britney Spears fan account shared a screenshot that appears to be from Elon Musk, asking, “Has she injured herself? If not, probably just trolling.”

The response was posted in response to a tweet from Ed Krassenstein, who reposted a clip of Britney’s dancing video to his own account. "Is Britney Spears OK? Is it any of our business?" he asked. "I see so many people constantly talking about Britney Spears and the videos that she has been posting on social media. Early this morning, she posted this video of herself dancing with knives? Are people being too judgmental or is the criticism of Britney warranted?"

Fans do appear to have a right to be concerned, as the “Overprotected” singer has been accused of having a “fascination” with knives amid her divorce from actor Sam Asghari. Last month, one insider told TMZ that the pop star had a “fascination with knives” and even kept a few in her bedroom. Another insider told the outlet that she “was paranoid someone was going to get her, and she needed the knives as protection.”

Later that month, a separate source told The Sun that Britney “has a weird obsession with knives. She has been throwing them at the walls and hiding them down the sofa." They went on to say, “It is as though she is paranoid someone is after her and she needs the knives as protection.”

In her January 2022 memoir, “Things I Should Have Said,” the pop star’s younger sister, “Zoey 101” star Jamie Lynn Spears claimed that the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer could become “paranoid and erratic” and recalled an incident with a knife in 2004:

“She said to me, ‘Baby, I’m scared’, and took a large knife from the kitchen, pulled me along to my room and she locked us both inside.”

At the time, Britney fired back at her sister on Twitter, denying the allegations. “Jamie Lynn … congrats babe! You’ve stooped to a whole new level of LOW … I’ve never been around you ever with a knife or would I ever even think to do such !!!” she wrote at the time.

“The only knife I ever saw you with at home was cutting the biggest pieces of squash I ever saw in my life and it was too big for me to cut,” she wrote at the time. “So please please stop with these crazy lies for the Hollywood books !!!”

Britney went on to call her sister “scum,” adding, “I wish the almighty, Lord would come down and show this whole world that you’re lying and making money off of me !!!! You are scum, Jamie Lynn."

Although there are clearly several cuts and bruises on Britney's body that can be seen in the video, it is not clear if they were caused by the knives in her dancing video or something else.
