Britney Spears In Crop Top Dances With KNIVES To Prepare For Halloween

Pop star Britney Spears has been accused of having a "fascination" with knives and it looks like she has no problem playing into the rumors as she danced with two knives on Monday night.

Fortunately, she assured her followers that the knives were fake and she was just preparing for Halloween, which is right around the corner!

On Monday night, the 41-year-old pop star posted two dancing videos to her Instagram page. In one video, she is wearing a long-sleeve white shirt and pink drawstring bathing suit bottoms. She didn’t write anything in the caption of that Instagram post, but she did leave three “????” emojis.

However, that also wasn’t the video that caught her followers’ attention. In the first video that she posted on Monday night, it looks like she is wearing a brand new polka dot crop top with white bottoms that feature a buckle on each side of her hips, showing off her tattoos.

She is dancing barefoot in her living room as she spins around and around again, letting her long blonde hair whip around her face. She has a knife in each hand as she brandishes them quickly around her body in various movements. Fortunately, they’re fake, otherwise, it looks like Britney might hurt herself with how quickly she is spinning them around.

In the caption, Britney wrote, “I started playing in the kitchen with knives today ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ !!! Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is soon ??? !!” She did not make any mention of her dogs which can be seen playing around in the background of the video, including her new puppy, Snow.

The “Toxic” singer has been accused of having a “fascination” with knives amid her divorce from actor Sam Asghari. Last month, sources told TMZ that the pop star would often get “physical” with the “Special Ops: Lioness” actor and alleged that security had to intervene in their fights several times to keep things from getting out of hand.

An insider also told the outlet that Britney had a “fascination with knives” and kept them near her at all times, even in her bedroom. Another source told TMZ that she “was paranoid someone was going to get her, and she needed the knives as protection.”

In a follow-up report, an insider told The Sun that Britney’s “behavior has become concerning and everyone is worried about her.”

“She has a weird obsession with knives. She has been throwing them at the walls and hiding them down the sofa,” the insider claimed. “It is as though she is paranoid someone is after her and she needs the knives as protection.”

In her January 2022 memoir, “Things I Should Have Said,” the pop star's younger sister, "Zoey 101" star Jamie Lynn Spears claimed that the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer could become “paranoid and erratic” and recalled an incident with a knife in 2004:

“She said to me, ‘Baby, I’m scared’, and took a large knife from the kitchen, pulled me along to my room and she locked us both inside.”

At the time, the Princess of Pop responded to her sister's allegations on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Jamie Lynn … congrats babe! You’ve stooped to a whole new level of LOW … I’ve never been around you ever with a knife or would I ever even think to do such !!!”

“The only knife I ever saw you with at home was cutting the biggest pieces of squash I ever saw in my life and it was too big for me to cut,” she wrote at the time. “So please please stop with these crazy lies for the Hollywood books !!!” She went on to call her sister “scum,” adding, “I wish the almighty, Lord would come down and show this whole world that you’re lying and making money off of me !!!! You are scum, Jamie Lynn.”

However, it seems that the two sisters have since made amends, as she even gave her approval for the "Sweet Magnolias" actress to join the upcoming season of "Dancing With The Stars."
