Kaley Cuoco's 5-month-Old Daughter Matilda Gets Her First Pet: 'Horse Girl!'

Kaley Cuoco is solidifying the bond her 5-month-old daughter has with animals, and it is the cutest thing on the internet!

As fans may know, the mom of one, who welcomed her child on March 30 with her actor boyfriend, Tom Pelphrey, introduced her little one to her four-legged friends even before she became a month old.

Now that her baby girl is gradually growing, Cuoco deemed it fit to gift baby Matilda her first pet animal!

The joys of parenthood are unending, and Cuoco experienced this delightful feeling firsthand after gifting her daughter her first four-legged friend.  The ''Big Bang Theory'' actress took to her Instagram Story to share the cheerful news with her followers. She posted two photos that captured the special moment. 

In the first picture, both mother and daughter looked excited as they posed near a pen housing the pony outdoors.  Cuoco donned a dark blue oversized T-shirt, which she paired with sports shorts and a pair of white sneakers. She accessorized her outfit by wearing a three-piece necklace and fancy sunglasses.

On the other hand, Matilda looked adorable, wearing a white onesie paired with light blue shorts and a floral print baby sun hat.  Cuoco proudly added a text over the snap, writing, ''Full time mommin it.'' Beside the caption was a blurry text that read, ''I'M IN HEAVEN.''

The next update gave fans a clearer view of the gray-looking pony. The ''Harley Quinn'' actress, her five-month-old daughter were indoors with the pony inside a stable.

The mom of one had a bright smile plastered on her face, while baby Matilda, who had a bib around her neck looked surprised.  Adding a caption to the post, Cuoco revealed, ''Someone got a new pony…. And it wasn't me lol.'' She further wrote ''horse girl'' underneath the post.

While this might be Matilda's first pet, this isn't her first introduction to animals. In June, the ''8 Simple Rule'' actress gushed about the close relationship that existed between her daughter and their family pet dog Opal.

Cuoco took to her Instagram Story to upload two pictures showcasing the sweet bond that existed between baby Matilda and Opal. In the photos, the little one donned a pink-colored onesie and looked highly amused as she reclined on a comfy gray couch.

The family's furry friend Opal lay beside the infant and slightly nudged the baby's nose in the sweetest interaction. The excited mom captioned the first post ''BESTIES.'' She further revealed in the second picture that baby Matilda ''gets so excited when Opal comes to give her kisses.''

Seeing how little Matilda loves animals, it is no surprise that she got it for her mother, who is a through-and-through animal lover! The "Big Bang Theory" star who has been open about her fondness for animals, has a very long list of pets who have joined her family.

The actress currently has a pet named King. King is Cuoco's Chihuahua who underwent an operation in July 2023 to have pieces of a foxtail plant removed from inside his body. 

Miss Opal is another of Cuoco's pets whom she adopted from Deity Animal Rescue with Tom Pelphrey in February 2023. Miss Opal happens to be the newest family member, as the ''Charmed'' actress and Pelphrey adopted the furry pal ahead of their baby girl Matilda's arrival in March.

The actress has another pet named Ruby, whom she adopted in 2014.  Norman, another of Cuoco's beloved dogs, died in 2021 after spending 14 years with the animal lover. She previously called the sweet pup her ''entire world,'' adding that his death was an ''earth-shattering deep, gut-wrenching pain I didn't know was possible.''

Following Norman's passing, the mom of one and her then-husband Karl Cook adopted a new dog named Larry — a ''9-year-old ginormous mastiff chunk mutt of love.'' ''When you know you know! Welcome to the family, Larry!'' Cuoco wrote alongside several sweet photos of the dog in June 2021.

Sadly, the ''Young Sheldon'' actress lost another dog named Dump Truck in May 2023. Cuoco described the Chihuahua, also known as Dumps and Dumpy, as someone who was with her through the ''hardest moments'' and brought ''endless joy.''

Meanwhile, in 2019, Cuoco was given a pit bull named Blueberry by her ex-husband, Cook, for Valentine's Day.  Since taking ownership of Blueberry, the actress has advocated for the breed, sharing that when he was just 3 months old, he was banned from a building because of his breed. The mom dog also has another pit bull mix, whom she rescued named Shirley.

Aside from having dogs as pets, the 37-year-old actress is also a horse lover and has owned more than eight horses. Their names include Bella, Poker Face, Smooshy, Bionetty, Fiona, Zaza, Thor, Santos, and Zee-Yah.
