The photograph captured what appeared to be a children's Christmas party with a man dressed as Santa Claus in the background, surrounded by little kids seated on the ground. One child, a blonde boy in a red sweater and baggy jeans stood out.

The little boy flashed a radiant smile for the camera with a slight tilt in his head. Fans of the "Chrisleys Know Best" show might be familiar with this pose as it screamed Todd. As suspected, the dashing child was indeed the real estate mogul, which Chase confirmed with the caption: "Missing you pops, @toddchrisley."

The entrepreneur's longing for his father might have been less painful for the 27-year-old if he knew the patriarch was not suffering under alleged deplorable prison conditions. During an appearance on the "Chasin' Birdies" podcast in May, the oldest of the Chrisley brood, he wailed about his parents' dilemma.

"Their conditions are just so s***ty. Like, everybody acts like my dad's in some country club," the reality TV star lamented, claiming: "They got like black mold [where my dad is], and my mom's place is even worse. I mean, she doesn't even have air conditioning. They're in a camp. It's better than being behind a wall."

Despite their alleged awful situation, Chase noted that he and his younger sister, Savannah Chrisley, never miss their weekend visits. "Savannah will go see my dad; I'll go see my moms. We'll rotate, and Savannah will normally take the kids [Grayson and Chloe] down with her," he explained.

Between navigating their lives without their parents, the 27-year-old and his sibling fought to change the system they held responsible for their unfair situation. In the entertainer's words: "Our system's so broken, but that's not new. I mean, there are so many both wrongly convicted people sitting in prison and don't have the resources to fight."

The Chrisley children were actively working to make a significant change to ensure others did not suffer from these alleged injustices. "That's what my sister and I are working on, is the prison reform and trying to help people with their re-entry whenever they get out, help them find jobs, give them some stability," the scented candle business owner revealed.

“With everything that we’ve been going through, there’s been a lot of people that have been talking and kind of trying to tell our story for us, so we were like, we might as well get out there and tell it ourselves.”

When asked if he or his siblings were worried about broadcasting their family's legal situation, the entertainer confirmed they were not backing down from sharing the truth. "I'm sure you're aware no one in my family has a filter, so we could give a s—t less what anybody has to say or think," Chase claimed.
