Savannah Chrisley takes her sisterly role seriously and wants the media to get their facts straight!

After her parents, Todd Chrisley, 54, and Julie Chrisley, 50, were found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion, leading to their sentencing of 12 and seven years behind bars, respectively, Savannah had to step in and take full responsibility for catering to her younger siblings. 

Since assuming her role as a sole caregiver, the reality TV star has been very vocal on the internet concerning issues about her household.

Savannah Chrisley Clarifies The Position Of Chloe Chrisley In The Family

As fans may know, before Todd and Juile headed to prison to serve their respective sentencing, they legally adopted Todd's formerly estranged son, Kyle's daughter, Chloe, following his struggle with addiction and bipolar disorder.

While Kyle has not been in the picture since the couple took over custody of his daughter's care, the couple's second daughter Savannah has been the adult, caring for Chloe since they went to prison.

Taking to her Instagram story to address the public about her family's situation, Savannah cautioned a media outlet for referring to Chloe as her "niece.'' She reposted the headline the news outlet posted on their page about the reality TV star being emotional while sending her ''niece" Chloe off to the first day of school.

Savannah promptly elucidated, "Chloe is MY SISTER… so please stop reporting ''Niece.'' She added, "When people call her my niece, she goes, 'what are they saying… you are my sister, sassy!' Chloe was legally adopted. In the eyes of the law, she is my sister."

In a subsequent post on her story, she continued, "Adoption can be tricky… and I understand that not everyone may understand it. We have always allowed Chloe to call us whatever she felt comfortable calling us."

Savannah disclosed that the ten-year-old was seeing a therapist, noting, "Her therapist has worked through this with her at length! If she saw me as her niece… GREAT! If she saw me as her friend… GREAT! But she sees me as her sister ?❤ just like she sees my parents as her parents"!

"For her, that IS MOM AND DAD!! All families look different… and just because someone birthed a child doesn't mean they have been a parent. Family is what we make it ❤❤❤❤❤," the 25-year-old concluded.

While the podcaster claimed to be Chloe's sister, Savannah declared herself a "solo bonus parent.'' Taking to her Instagram page to make the announcement, she uploaded a carousel of photos compiled into a single video. 

The heartwarming clip displayed the affection between herself, her adopted sister, Chloe, and her younger brother, Grayson.

The video, set to the tune of Brett Young's ''Weekends Look A Little Different These Days," showcased the trio playing together at the beach while they struck several poses at the camera.

The podcaster looked stylish and classy, sporting a blue long puff sleeve mini dress. Her sister Chloe looked like a Barbie doll in a pink playsuit, while Grayson wore a blue round-neck T-shirt paired with white shorts.

Eulogizing her younger ones while describing her role as a caregiver, she captioned the post, writing, "What my world spins around ❤... I'm not their mom. I'm not their dad. I'm their sister, and I get to love and guide them through life."

She continued, "Being a bonus parent is TOUGH… no one could ever add up to their parents. But these kiddos have shown me so much love, patience, grace, understanding, and appreciation! Helping to raise these two kiddos is the hardest but most rewarding job I will ever have."

The podcaster added, "I've always said, 'God meant for me to be a mama!'... little did I know, the journey would start a little sooner than expected! But luckily, I have had THE MOST AMAZING mama in the world to learn from! Because of her, I can do this!..."

She commended single parents for doing it alone; she wrote, "Single parent/income households… I SEE YOU! IT IS HARD! It can be so defeating! But I promise you… God will NOT give us more than we can bear! I SEE YOU! I BELIEVE IN YOU! YOU CAN DO THIS!..."

Concluding her write-up, Savannah penned, "Chloe and Gray… YOU ARE MY LIFE! Thank you for letting me love you and for loving me back ❤."

The Reality TV Star Denied Her Family's Participation In A Rumored Documentary

Aside from acting as a bonus parent to her younger siblings, Savannah oversees her family's business and ensures that her parents' reputation is upheld, notwithstanding that they are behind bars.

Per(The Blast, the "Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley" podcaster dispelled rumors about her family participating in a supposed new documentary.

She uploaded a video addressing her fans to her Instagram story. In the clip, Savannah sat in the comfort of her white, luxurious home, donning a floral dress and pairing it with a gold necklace.

She remarked, "I was notified of some crazy stories that have been out there about this family documentary. First, I want to set the record straight; no family documentary is happening."

The podcaster continued, "Me [Savannah], Chase, the kids, and the nanny are filming a new reality show, and we've partnered with an amazing production company to do this. And it will be the first reality show we've done."

Savannah further explained that she and her brother were vehemently against the documentary, adding that any documentary that happens is ''BS" and a ''lie."
