Selena Gomez Drops 'Single Soon,' Leaving Fans OBSESSED With Her Love Life!

August 24 has got to be some sort of music day, given we are getting multiple new songs - so let's start with Selena Gomez and her super peppy celebration, "Single Soon" which finds home in the hearts of all single people. Let's just call it the anthem of the year for all those who need a break from love!

Gomez posted a last little teaser on August 24 morning, that showed her walking into a room and with her little sister, Gracie's voice playing the background, saying, "I love you, Sissy. Don't ever worry about boyfriends, like AT ALL!"

We have to admit, that's some sound advice from Gracie for sure...

Gomez's new song is the perfect club number for a girl's night out, and if we read Barbie overtones in it, well, you can't blame us. It's also the slightest bit personal given that Gomez's love life has been everybody's business ever since she and Justin Bieber finally went their separate ways. While Bieber went ahead and married Hailey Baldwin in a somewhat whirlwind romance and courtship, Gomez has been linked to various men since then.

After dating TheWeeknd and then rumored to be involved with Charlie Puth, there was also talk of Gomez going around with Zayn Malik and Drew Taggart from The Chainsmokers.

It seems Gomez also took inspiration from her own TikToks that she made about being single, as the lyrics go:

At the time of writing this article, Gomez's song was only an hour young on YouTube, and it has already racked up 287,000 views, with her pal Miley Cyrus' "Used To Be Young" lagging just slightly behind at 236,000 - also less than an hour old.

Fans not only loved Gomez's song, but they were also happy to see her looking absolutely radiant in the song as she rocked a glittery purple top and then dress.

With this song, it seems Gomez has made yet another declaration that she's single and okay about it - and all the names she's been recently linked to are nothing but casual dates on her part. In the lyrics, she also declares she's high-maintenance, poking fun at her own TikTok video she made in June!

The video showed her at a football game, draped in blankets and she yelled at the footballers, "I’m single! I’m just a little high maintenance, but I’ll love you so much.”

The Rare Beauty founder captioned the video, “The struggle, man, lol.” One fan wrote, “If I were in earshot of her saying this, I would never have sprinted to someone faster in my life!"
