TheWeeknd, as in Abel Makkonen Tesfaye is keeping his fans on tenterhooks with a series of cryptic Instagram posts.

He had announced the launch of his next album, “The Dawn is Coming” in August 2021, without any official release dates.

Fans have been wondering when the Canadian singer will release his next album and it seems the wait may soon be over.

TheWeeknd first posted about his tenth-year anniversary of “Echoes of Silence” telling fans he’s meet them “at dawn” the next time.

Then, he shared a screenshot of a text conversation with the co-founder of XO Records, La Mar Taylor.

In it, TheWeeknd mentions, “Let’s just drop the whole thing and enjoy it with the people… XO.”

Fans have taken it as a clear hint to the fact that TheWeeknd may soon be dropping his entire album.

And then TheWeeknd followed it up with an even more mysterious Instagram post, writing, "wake up at dawn tomorrow", with a  picture of the sun rising between trees.

His fans are now in a frenzy, writing to him that they may not be able to sleep till the album is finally dropped. Everyone seems ready for this dawn.
